Hotel of a good standard and with a reasonable pool which catches the sun in the afternoon. Not a great walk to the nearest train station and we were glad we had hired a car - plenty of parking at the hotel. Although some reviewers say they had a free ride into Rome by train - beware!, the fine for not having a validated ticket is 100Euro! We had a superior grade room but were charged for sweets from the mini-bar which the maid had probably helped herself to - the hotel refunded the charge but I expect other guests have paid up without checking.

The location of the hotel was not ideal as it was at least a 1+km walk to the nearest train station, which only had trains pass by every 30 minutes. The hotel had a shuttle bus to Tiburtina Station, but this was only twice a day, except Sundays. Likewise, it was not accessible to a supermarket, so supplies are difficult to come by - and water in the hotel is not cheap at €2,50 per 500ml bottle (as against €1,56 per 500ml 6-pack in the supermarket). The saving grace was our getting an Omnia Vatican & Rome card, which provided for unlimited 72-hour access to the public bus, subway & train system. For people who need to constantly go back to the hotel or to multiple places, this unlimited ride card is recommended. But you can't get it in the hotel - we had to go to the Vatican to redeem our cards, which we purchased online.

What was lacking in the vicinity are dining options. If you're staying for more than a couple of nights, would have been nice to be in a location with multiple dining options. Or at least a more extensive menu in the hotel's restaurant. What we would also have wished for was a different breakfast buffet per day, which is what we are used to seeing in North America & Asia. It can get tiresome eating the same breakfast day in and day out.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, although on the smallish side. What's great is that each room has a sofa that converts into a queen-sized bed and that we were able to get connecting rooms, so our children were right with us. What I'd wish for is for more outlets within the room to power all the devices that a family brings along on a trip.

Bathrooms are a bit on the small side, especially since the hotel rooms in Italy have a proper bidet. Wish that this could have been removed and instead more space dedicated to the shower/tub, which is small for anybody.

Internet is provided free of charge, but is just good enough for basic email and surfing. What's a bit of a hassle though is that your connection gets terminated when your phone or tablet goes to sleep, so you would have to reconnect again once you wake up your device.

Our transfers from and to the train station were arranged by the hotel and were excellent. The drivers were prompt and polite and had vehicles of the appropriate size for the number of people in our party and our luggage. Our driver even emailed me several days in advance to let us know exactly where he would be waiting for us when we got off the train from Venice.

Being tourists, we selected this hotel after checking metro lines...That was a very bad decision...otherwise it has hotel rooms that were pretty excellent and service as well... Everything was good except the location. Almost no metro connection on Sundays....we were advised not to use our cars as well. One hour for transport to city centre...hotel doesnot provide any schuttle service. Walk to station nearby is not easy as you need to go through rough roads and can be scary in late evenings....

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your review.
We have a paying shuttle service for the metro station Tiburtina available from April to October, very convenient to get the city center.
We hope to welcoming you again in the future, warm regards

Booked the hotel via BA website. Then read reviews and was very concerned. Yes, it was good to have the heads up on its location (not ideal, but is reflected in the price). Catching the local train into Tirburtina FS was no trouble (and ended up being free, going into Rome and 1 euro each to return), then caught the metro to see the tourist destinations. Note to owner, a path should be laid, as not ideal walking on the road with young children.

Caught the shuttle bus on Sunday, excellent service (drops off at Tirburtina station). Note to travellers, picks up outside cafe Gemini (great service, authentic Italian cafe).

Room very clean, plenty of room in the second bed in the family room. Breakfast was fab, plenty of choice. Very impressed with the member of staff that I dealt with on my last night (printed off the boarding passes for my family).

Would I stay here again? Yes, I have travelled extensively through Italy and, apart from there being no path for a 5 min walk, I could not fault this hotel.

Tip to tourists who take a taxi to the hotel. Do not just hand over the money. Count each note out into his hand, our driver stole 25 euros, by hiding some of my money and then went beserk, that I had underpaid him. Really, ruined the first part of our holiday

Hotel is located very far from main city. No shops nearby. Transport is also difficult. location is not good its jungle. Very terrible life there. Train facility is there but atleast 2 kilometer you have to go by walk.

Room Tip: I will not recommend to any one to stay in this hotel. No shops around 15 Miles of hotels, No other hotels nearby. Hotel is located in village like jungle.
