The hotel is in a very nice area but apart from that it has been a very disappointing experience. We went there with our 3 children. The bathroom (bathroom? just a toilet, a sink and a shower with no place even to have your beautycase at easy reach) is so small that you cannot move around (imagine with small children...) and the smell was disgusting. There is no phone, no fridge, they do not even sell you a bottle of water for the night . Breakfast is served in your room but there is no space for the tray and you end up having your breakfast on the bed. We asked for 2 nights in a row to have orange juice for breakfast and instead we had pineapple juice (which of course the kids did not like). When we asked why they said they did not have any. Service is awful, the staff is not friendly, definitely customer service is not their best. The price is too high for what you get. I would definitely not recommend it to a family with young children. When I complained I got 20 euro back per night, but I still think that we paid too much for what we got.

This is a charming little hotel in a great neighborhood, but it definitely has some downsides. First, it is not the easiest place to find as it is located in a small alley that is not marked on many maps of Rome. The directions provided on the hotel website were not particularly helpful. We ended up walking around (with all of our luggage) for quite some time before we found it.

The rooms are incredibly tiny for the price. We were initially put in the room right near the reception desk. The A/C did not work in this room. We complained about this for 2 days before they finally moved us to a room that had working A/C. Unfortunatley, the staff was neither helpful nor friendly about resolving this situation. In fact, we really didn't find that any of the staff members were friendly at all.

They tell you that breakfast is included, but you either have to go to a nearby hotel, or have it served in your room. You also have to ask about breakfast, as they did not volunteer this information to us. Our first morning, I asked where the breakfast room was. The woman at the front desk told me that they could bring coffee or juice to our room, but that was all. It wasn't until the second day that we found out about the nearby hotel option from a different front desk person.

All in all, not a bad place to stay. It's a bit overpriced for what you get. But the neighborhood makes up for it.

Location was excellent, but the cab driver had a hard time finding it. Rooms small but clean. Two of our party had rooms upstairs and they were much nicer than our ground floor room. Breakfast was adequate. delivered to the room. Neighborhood perfect. We were able to take the bus anywhere (like the vatican) or walk to the forum, or Campo di Fiore. The hotel reccomended a restaurant around the corner which was the best food and value of our entire month!

First the positive things: This hotel is in a great area, and the rooms, while tiny, are charming. The staff were reasonably friendly although they couldn't answer some pretty basic questions. But there's this place is NOT worth 120 Euros a night - it was more like something that would normally be about 90 Euros, if that. The towels and pillows were really thin, the breakfast included things that had been opened by someone else, the heater could be operated only by a remote control (that had no batteries), and the taxi driver the hotel arranged to pick us up at the airport charged almost double what the price should have been (yes, we should have found out what the normal price was ahead of time!). To top it off, the hotel apparently has a policy of not changing towels daily, which would have been fine if they had told us ahead of time. Instead, after a long day of walking around Rome, mostly in the rain, we arrived back at the hotel to find our two wet bath towels, one wet hand towel, and one wet bath mat all neatly folded and stacked in a pile, but still wet. I would definitely not return!

Booking a room in this hotel was a very bad choice. The staff and manager were rude and unhelpful. The manager does not know what customer care means and only shouts at customers. That was a really scary experience. A hotel to be avoided at all cost.
