“Great price for Roma!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014 via mobile

We stayed in Rome for 4 nights at this hotel. The hotel is charming and clean and the reception is very helpful. The breakfast is quite nice and is included. There are a lot of stairs to hike if the elevator isn't working but the stairs are a great way to wear off all the pizza and pasta. Hotel is located walking distance to the colosseum and to the metro. Would definitely recommend!

We arrived on a Friday lunchtime and found our way to the hotel easily from Termini station (10/15 mins max). We were given a room key and our room was on the 4th floor. It was a large room, basic in features, including no plugs near the beds but the air con worked fine as did the wifi which was free. The rooms were well cleaned and reception staff held on to our bags on the last day which was handy. Breakfast massively let's this place down. Stale bread rolls with slices of plasticy cheese and ham and yogurts doesn't fuel you for a day's walking around the sites of Rome. Coffee too wasn't good, so we opted to eat elsewhere on the second day. Aside from the breakfast, I'd recommend this hotel for a cheap weekend break as it's location is perfect and the price is good for the area.

Decent location close to metro. Good wifi but no plug beside bed which is a pain. Very basic breakfast. Room basic but does the job. No tv remote. Ok for an expensive city. Location is it's best attribute.

“Orazia Hotel is set on the top floor of a 19th-century building in Rome’s Piazza Vittorio”
It means you have to be a mountain climber to make it to your room. I’m in decent shape, and these were the biggest stairs I had ever conquered.

Over all the hotel was nice, bear in mind we were four college students traveling so this place was much nicer than the hostels we had been at. The breakfast provided was great but the hotel itself is in a very isolated area.
It's hard to get a taxi to pick you up from this hotel, so we walked everywhere.

The rooms were nice though and the staff was very friendly.

the gentleman working in the morning was very nice but all the others were very rude and unhelpful. the cleaning staff were older and must be losing it as the room was dirty especially the bathroom which was a disgrace including odd brown marks on the bottom or the sink and on the floor and wall. the shower is horrid and you don't even get a curtain. breakfast was more like lunch as it was ham, salami and cheese with bread rolls, and the worst fruit juice ever. the recommendations made to us by the staff were all terrible. the hotel had a funny smell all the time and that is before i even get started on the lift. stay away from this hotel at all costs. also ac didn't work and the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work.

Room Tip: pick a different hotel

Room had a nasty moldy smell, especially the bathroom. It was very overpriced and not deserving of a three star rating. There are many other hotels in the area that are comparable and in better shape. Didn't help that the receptionist didn't even acknowledge us for the first 5 minutes.
One plus, the breakfast was decent.

I'm glad I stayed there. First of all - when we arrived, the receptionist explain us how to reach every popular destination in Rome.
The lady at the breakfast was such a sweaty - she gave us fresh breakfast at 9:27, even though the breakfast was until 9:30.
