Me and my mother visited Rome 2 weeks ago and had the best time ever!!! This was the second time I was in Rome and I can't wait for the third :) The bed and breakfast is in my favourite neighborhood, lovely Trastevere, great for walks, and full of restaurants, bars and little stores! It is in a safe building, just a few metres from the tram station that takes you in the centre of Rome and a couple of blocks from a bus station to other city destinations. The room was big enough, with private bathroom ,tv, aircondition and a small balcony looking the Viale Trastevere. The bed was very comfortable and although there is noise from outside, we never had a sleeping problem. Breakfast was quite satisfying, espresso, croissant, milk, jams, butter, cornflakes, juice, every day the fridge was full and we could have our breakfast any time we wanted!
And last but not least, the wonderful hosts, Niky and Patricia, always there to help with a big smile, made as really feel like we were with family! They are really trying to make the best and plan improvements to this place better. We will be there again!

Rome is a VERY expensive city to visit! Water costs you 5 Euros and a COKE up to 8 euros! Even an espresso you may end up paying 16 euros!!!!!! Keep your eyes open and ALWAYS read MENUS for the prices before you sit down to order.

This hotel is a miracle for it's cost. Placed just 100 meters from Rome's best on foot aley places filled with restaurants an Bars. Tram station in front of B&B will take you down town easily.

Nichi, the owner will be VERY helpful for anything you need. If he gives you a card to visit his friend's Ristorante, DO IT! A great steak house with amazing sweets. Pasta is good too.

The only thing that may be an issue if you are a sensitive sleeper are the noises. The main street up front and the thin walls can reveal any sound so hope for quiet neighbors. In our case we only had the ram sound to deal with but most of all the apartment noises from above that started every morning with God knows what up there from 7am!!

Overall, if you are on a tight budget, its is the perfect place to book. and if you call the Hotel directly I am sure you will get an even BETTER price than if you use any online booking service.

Grazie Nichi and do something about that upper apartment!

Room Tip: Each room has different color.

Location of this B&B in wonderful, central in Trastevere with many good restaurants and cafes nearby and within walking distance from most sights. There is also a bus connection to Termini (bus H) and tram (8) to centre. Rooms were spacious and brightly coloured. Breakfast okay, nothing special but nothing to complain about. The owner does not live on the premises, but you get your own keys and can come and go as you please. Overall, we had a very good experience, only slight problem was that they had sent us an email asking the time of our check-in and we replied at noon, but when we got there, turned out that the B&B opens at 1 pm - would've been nice if they had replied to our email and notified of that. Although it did say it in reservation, so can't fully blame them. Just make sure you have the owners mobile number, he will answer quickly and (despite slight language problems) help you any way he can!
