“A Wonderful Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014

I spent 7 nights here and loved every minute of my stay. I received a very warm welcome and the check in process was quick and easy. My room was on the 4th floor and looked over the side street, which was very quiet. The room was a perfect size for me and the bathroom was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. It was nice to have the towels changed everday and the toiletries were very good. The church bells rang at 7am, which for me meant it was breakfast time. An excellent selection of cereals, fruit, cheese, ham, croissants, scrambled egg the list goes on. Very friendly ladies who served breakfast, and got to know my preferences.
The location could not have been better, about 10 minutes walk from Termini and an easy walk to the Colosseum/Forum. I walked nearly everywhere, although I did catch a bus (H) to Trastevere There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and the staff will recommend some if you ask.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available all the time, which was very welcome and there was a nice area to sit and relax if you wished.
To sum up, great hotel, friendly staff and good location.Would definately recommend and look forward to a return visit.

Excellent location in the hart of Rome close to every attraction and few blocks away from Termini Station. Even when rooms are small, the are very clean with a complete bathroom. Nice breakfast and great staff. This hotel seems to have more than 3 stars!!!

short distance from Termini, a 3 star hotel, with full breakfast included in price ( eggs, meats, etc.,...), very helpful staff, lots of amenities... rooms for single traveler quite small, but functional and clean. Also very quiet ( i have had off street rooms).

Room Tip: off street, and higher level...

Yes, it's all true ! Everything you read about the great location of this hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms, the nice assortment of fresh food every morning and the hospitality from the staff with a special thank you to Massimo. The pillow menu was also a nice touch. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to our family & friends.

This is an excellent hotel - nicely appointed, well located and comfortable. The reservation process was smooth and the amnesties excellent. The breakfast was a feast and much enjoyed by our family. We really appreciated the assistance on the concierge Elena - she was wonderful and made our stay in Rome fantastic. We especially like her restaurant recommendations ( Ask her about the place to buy Tiramisu you wont be disappointed)...we would certainly recommend Hotel Raffaello

Room Tip: Ask the concierge to help design your stay - you will be able to discover some off the beaten track...

First visit to Rome, and hope to return. Booked in quickly, staff friendly and helpful. Location fabulous, within walking distance of most things. Vatican a little distance away but we still walked because you get to see so much. Around every corner there is something beautiful to see. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning is a must. Facilities great, Breakfast a little limited but adequate. Very close to the Via Cavour and some good restaurants. S.M. Maggiores gelateria on Via Cavour is a must - the lemon ice cream is gorgeous (tried the carrot which wasn't so nice, but maybe an acquired taste?) Eduardo on reception was very helpful. The shower was a bit small but fine. Bistro 215 also good and you must have a large beer, you'll be surprised. Would recommend this hotel. It's very clean and friendly, location good. What more can you ask? Pleasantly surprised by prices in Rome, was expecting them to be similar to Venice but found it to be much cheaper. Lovely city, great hotel.

Dear Derbyshire,

Thank you for such an enthusiastic and positive review, we are happy you have been so thrilled by Rome, by Raffaello, and by your holiday here...

I've stayed in many hotels and Rome and this hotel (about a half mile from the Termini station and close to Santa Maria Maggiore) is an excellent choice. Great rooms and great service. An excellent breakfast and close to the Metro. I recommend it highly for value and service.
