“Good location”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

This hotel is only 10 minutes from the colosseum and you can walk to most of the other attractions
Within 20 minutes the Vatican on the other hand is about 45 to 55 minutes, or more if you walk like me stopping for coffee on the way the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and the continental
Breakfast is plentiful.

Dear John,

Thank you for having shared us with the other Tripadvisor users, whom we would like to remind they have a special discount.

Thank you for having mentioned Raffaello's position, which is one of its strenght points: half a mile away from the main train station, and less than half a mile away from both (A and B) subway lines, ....Raffaello lays at less than a mile away from the Coliseum, in the Monti neighbourhood, the most ancient neighbourhood in Rome still being lived and used, just like it used to be 2000 ago (well, maybe with some improvements brought by technology... :) ).

Hoping you will pay us a new visit someday, we would like to send you our best wishes! :)

Regards,
Elena

We stayed here five nights in early July and had a wonderful time. The hotel's great location is withing walking distance to the Forum, Colosseum, Trajan's Market as well as Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon. My wife and I were traveling with friends, and we easily walked a circuit to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon in a single afternoon.

Our room was a standard double and it was very clean and comfortable. The shower was on the small side, but really was more than adequate. I liked the room safe it wasn't a cubby hole like so many are, and I had room enough everything I wanted to store. A bonus was being able to take the key with me and not have to leave it at the desk when we stepped out. (The key to the safe, that is. Room keys do have to be left at the desk.)

There are ample eating establishments nearby, and the entire area appears to be making an economic comeback with new shops and stores on Via Urbana. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back.

Room Tip: All rooms would seem to be quiet, as the hotel is located on a lesser-traveled side street and not a...

Dear Bruce,

Our strenght lays in the fact we always put ourselves in our guests' shoes, and do the best we can in order to gratify them, and satisfy their needs...

We also keep in very high consideration our guests' feedback, and we use it in order to improve ourselves and our services...

Another strenght point we have is our location: as you yourself mentioned, Monti is a central neighbourhood, which not a lot of people know is the oldest one in Rome, already existing 2000 years ago... And yes, its small romantic streets are full of handcraft shops, small boutiques, tavernas, restaurants, gelaterias, pubs and bars...

Hoping you will renew your visit as soon as possible, we just wanted to let you know we are waiting for you... :)

Best wishes,

Elena

Perfect hotel for a Rome Vacation. Clean, nice size rooms. Hotel Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good for a hotel in Rome. Location of the hotel is great as you can walk to every attraction (except the Vatican) within 15 to 20 minutes. Note: if you plan on taking a train to or from this hotel, make sure its the Termini Station, which is a few blocks away.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Lou,

Even though I haven't had the chance to personally meet you, as I was in holiday, I would like to thank you, on the behalf off all my colleagues, for having given us a minute of your time, and for having appreciated all our work, and the enthusiasm we do it with.

I personally do hope, however, we will have the chance to meet, as that would mean you would come back here. :)

Regards,
Elena

I spent 7 nights here and loved every minute of my stay. I received a very warm welcome and the check in process was quick and easy. My room was on the 4th floor and looked over the side street, which was very quiet. The room was a perfect size for me and the bathroom was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. It was nice to have the towels changed everday and the toiletries were very good. The church bells rang at 7am, which for me meant it was breakfast time. An excellent selection of cereals, fruit, cheese, ham, croissants, scrambled egg the list goes on. Very friendly ladies who served breakfast, and got to know my preferences.
The location could not have been better, about 10 minutes walk from Termini and an easy walk to the Colosseum/Forum. I walked nearly everywhere, although I did catch a bus (H) to Trastevere There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and the staff will recommend some if you ask.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available all the time, which was very welcome and there was a nice area to sit and relax if you wished.
To sum up, great hotel, friendly staff and good location.Would definately recommend and look forward to a return visit.
