“Nice flat, in an excellent location”
Reviewed 24 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

This flat is in a really great location, in walking distance from all the key sights of Rome; also very close to the Metro and bus stops if that's the way you want to travel. It's position, on the inside of the complex rather than the road side, means it is very quiet at night. Being on the inside also means it doesn't get much light (it has windows that look out onto a light well that runs through the centre of the building), but we knew this when we booked so it was never an issue for us. However, there are lots of different lighting options in the flat, so you can have it as bright or subdued as you want. The bedroom is spacious and has a large comfortable bed, plenty of hangers and storage space for clothes, plus an en-suite shower room. The living area has a nice sofa and kitchen units containing all the things we needed for our stay, and another shower room just near the front door. Francesco, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful, advising on locations of the nearest supermarkets and recommending some restaurants. All in all, very happy with our choice and I would recommend staying here.

“Modern, spacious, good location”

Being new to renting holiday apartments, my husband & I were a little nervous about how it all worked. However, Francesco was a truly wonderful host, who made us feel very welcome and allayed all our concerns. His communication leading up to our arrival was excellent and he provided great, detailed instructions for us to walk from Termini train station to the apartment. It took us about 15mins and part of the walk was uphill.

Francesco was genuine, friendly & helpful and was willing to spend as much time as we needed to get settled in for our 9-night stay. It was our first time in Rome, so he explained how tickets for the metro worked (there's a stop about 5mins' walk from the apartment, which was handy to get to the Vatican); he showed us on a map the sights to see and the best way to get there; and recommended restaurants as well as a fabulous gelati shop (Giolitti).

At the end of our stay, Francesco showed up on time to complete the checking-out process, which was very simple and straightforward.

The apartment is in a lovely, secure building near the Ministry of Defence and it has a lift. As it is surrounded mostly by offices we had no trouble sleeping at night. Early in the morning (from around 7am) during the week you will hear the office doors open & close.

It was by far the largest accommodation we had during our entire trip. It was beautifully clean with plenty of space to move around and unpack. The bed was large & comfortable, the wardrobe had decent hanging space & shelves, there was also a set of drawers, two bathrooms (each with their own hot water system) and a couch & TV in the kitchen / dining room. The kitchen was great for cooking simple meals on the stove (there's no oven) and I found things like containers helpful for storage of food packets we opened.

We highly recommend Suite Quirinale and would definitely stay here again if we ever get to return to Rome.

“Great host and great apartment”
Reviewed 9 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The apartment was very comfortable and nicely furnished, the kitchen was small but well equipped enough to cope with cooking simple meals, and it was in a perfect location within walking distance of both Roma Termini and the main historic sights. The owner was very good - our flight was delayed and we missed our transfer, arriving rather late. This was no problem, and he even stayed to show us how to get to the main attractions on the map. An excellent experience

“Excellent apartment to tour Rome”

The apartment was very comfortable, with two excellent bathrooms, a large and comfortable bedroom with a good large bed, small food prep area (not designed to cook a 10 course meal, but adequate to prepare a pasta or similar, a couple of TVs, settee and dining area.
Francesco the owner could not do enough for us, making himself available if we needed him, and giving excellent tips as where to dine.
The location we found perfect and walked everywhere. This included from the station Roma Termini (25 mins), Borghese Palace and gardens {45mins}, Colosseum [30 mins], Campo di Fiore [40 mins].

“Great Home Base in Rome”
Reviewed 15 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My sister and I (58 and 63) stayed here for 3 weekday nights in late October, and had a lovely stay. Francesco was wonderful to work with, speaks great English, and was very thoughtful, helpful and responsive during our stay as well as during the planning of our trip, giving us great advice by email and arranging an airport driver for us (Euros 45).

The apartment was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed for light meals, and is in a very safe building and neighborhood. The master bedroom was very spacious, and having 2 full baths was a real bonus, as was having an elevator in the building which is very rare. The living room / kitchen area is compact but was just fine for two of us. It is in an excellent location for exploring Rome, and is walking distance to many sites, buses and the subway. Just know that it is at the top of a hill so there is some up hill walking at the end of your day.

Our favorite restaurants in the area were Ristorante La Pentolaccia on Via Flavia 38, and Hostaria Romana on Via del Boccaccio 1 (at Via Rasella).

Two minor comments ... The building is mostly offices so it is very quiet at night which is wonderful, but if you are a light sleeper you may be woken up early in the morning by neighboring doors being opened and closed. Also, I personally found the sofabed mattress uncomfortable, but other reviewers have not expressed a problem with it. But these are minor concerns, and they would not prevent us from renting it again.

Overall, we would recommend this apartment as it provided excellent value and was a great home base while in Rome, and Francesco was a terrific host. Grazie mille Francesco!

“Centrally located, clean and comfortable”

My wife and I stayed at this comfortable apartment on our first five nights in Italy. Our host, Francesco, arranged for our pick up from the airport and we got there without a problem. As it is located on the third floor we were very happy to have the elevator, especially when we came back laden with shopping and groceries. The apartment is just a five minute walk from the Barberini metro station and equally close to the one at Republica. As result we walked or took public transport to all the major attractions in the city.
The apartment is in a safe and secure building and had a well equipped kitchen and having two bathrooms was a nice feature. Only minus was that the apartment rather dark and had no view, being located close to another building. But if you're looking for a great location, you can't beat this apartment.

“Comfortable Stay at the Quirinale”

This was our first stay at an apartment and was a little worried about how things work but after meeting Francesco and seeing the place, I know that we did the right decision. Since I was with my wife and a couple of teenage kids, we needed a bigger place to stay and I found this place to be more than enough. Suite Quirinale has two separate living area with two full bath, kitchen located on one of the living area.

Amenities: Two cable TV, Free Wifi, Safe, Towels, Two Air-condition unit (One per Area), Kitchen cookware, Utensil, soap and other cleaning materials to name a few.

Location: The apartment is located on the 4th floor with an elevator, very secure. I am easily bothered by slight noises and I find this place to be very quiet, walls are made out of concrete so rest assure that you will not hear your next door neighbor. The distance to the tourist sites averages around 10-15 minutes’ walk from the apartment including Termini station. Laundry, Grocery store, restaurants and Metro is about a 5 minute walk or less.

Airport pick is also available upon request. I am very confident to recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome.
