This was an excellent hotel. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble at all. They give you an excellent local map that we used everyday. All rooms and spaces were modern and clean. Really good breakfast, something for everyones taste and plenty of it.
Hotel situated in perfect location. 5 mins from Termini station and in nice road with hustle and bustle, but not too noisy. Opera House almost opposite.
We used the buses and the underground 1.5 euros for any one trip and the same tickets are used, just purchase from a tobacco shop. We would get a train to Spanish steps and stroll back to hotel throughout the day. Same with Vatican City.
Every attraction is within easy reach of the hotel.
Good value for money, free wi-fi and we would highly recommend

Top Tips:
Restaurant directly on corner outside hotel was medium priced and very good quality.
Good place to get that last night cap and hot chocolate and biscuits to take to your hotel room.

Best place for shopping starts at the Spanish steps which is surrounded by designer shops, but then walk to via del Corso and the full length of the road becomes more affordable as you walk down towards Trevi Fountain area.
Also lots of good local shops for shoes and clothes scattered around the hotel vicinity in local roads.

To visit Colloseum, Palantine Hill and Roman Forum we just used our i-phone in hotel room to book tickets for 14euros each person. Reception printed the tickets for us to take. This was excellent value and you could pay for audio and guides when you got there. We didn't feel we needed to do that though as there is a lot of information available. This was the only tourist sight that we needed to pay for and we went everywhere!

Room Tip: Rooms without a view of road are very very quiet. Excellent sleep quality. Air conditioning very effective.

The Demetra is only five minutes walk from Rome's Termini rail and bus station, Do not be put off by the hotel entrance on Via del Viminale, the hotel reception and most rooms are on the first floor, there is a lift. The hotel staff gave a warm and friendly welcome and although our room was compact, it was spotlessly clean with an excellent en-suite, and very quiet. The buffet continental breakfast is very good with a wide choice from cereals, fruit to ham and cheeses.
Will definitely book again for our next trip to Rome.

We had a great stay here, our room was just as in the pictures, it was big and clean, the shower very futuristic.

The staff was very polite (the only strange thing was that that they requested the voucher of our booking) and the breakfast was great.

Definitely stay here.

A lovely hotel, All staff very friendly and attentive, spotlessly clean and complimentary soft drinks/water in fridge.

As we visited during the Easter holidays, we returned one afternoon to find the staff had left us Easter eggs and biscuits, a very kind and thoughtful touch.

Would definitely recommend.

Alessio restaurant and Fontana al Vimanale both excellent food and reasonable price.

A spotlessly clean well run family hotel that is ideally situated. By foot it is five minutes from the terminus and twenty minutes from Trevi Fountain. The staff cannot do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. The breakfast is 'ok' but as I like my 'full English' the choice was limited but scrambled eggs, toast, fruit etc kept us going. The bedrooms like the hotel are new and modern in design. Comfortable beds, powerful shower etc. On returning in the late afternoon Nicholas or Florin would open the bar for us and we would enjoy a few drinks at very competitive prices. Much cheaper than the local bars charge! We would definitely go again well done!
