My second visit to this lovely city. My first stay at this hotel which is in a great location and comfortable room. No views, but that doesn't bother me as I'm only in it to sleep - it's lovely and peaceful at night. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a good time and thoroughly recommend it. Will definitely stay here again.

In reading some of the negative reviews below, I laugh at the unreasonable expectations of some travellers. In a city the size of Rome, it is very rare to find such a fine boutique hotel that caters to the needs and desires of such a diverse group of individuals.

The rooms are unusually large and functional. We had a room with a small deck (106) and although there was no view it was very pleasant to be able to sit outside and enjoy a drink on the patio. It also purposed as a great place to hang a bit of laundry which virtually dried in minutes in the hot Roman weather.

We really appreciated the high quality furnishings, bathroom fixtures and comfortable king size bed, bedding and pillows. The little coffee maker with yummy espresso was an added bonus. We also liked the fridge which had room for some of your own items along with hotel items that were reasonably priced (a rarity). One English Channel - so get use to BBC running the same story over and over but at least you were kept in touch with the world outside and inside Italy. Safe and free wifi - and you have everything you need.

Beside the hotel is a little convenience store and half a block away is a laundromat (we really appreciated the front staff member who took us to it when we asked if there was one close). The hotel of course does provide laundry service but we felt their prices were too high - this would be my only small negative comment.

Breakfast had a very good variety of items: coffee espresso maker, cheeses, meats, assortment of breads, hard boiled eggs, fruit (although if you don't get up early enough and it runs out it is not replaced), cereals, cakes, other sweets and tomatoes. Not much else you could ask for in a continental style breakfast.

I have to really congratulate the staff that clean the rooms each day - the rooms were kept tremendously clean. A highly efficient crew.

The front office staff were also very helpful and friendly. They never missed a time to acknowledge you, answer your questions and to give you good advice. They were very friendly the moment you walked in the door.

Probably the best part of the hotel though is the location - outstanding as my review states. Steps from Piazza Navona, easy access to the Vatican and most highlights in Rome. If you are feeling over-whelmed by all the hustle and bustle of high traffic areas - you will love this little road with small eateries and restaurants, small unique shops and calm traffic.

Loved this hotel! Forget about amenities and nice views, but as far as the location goes, you can't get much better than Navona Colors. Easy walking distance to numerous city attractions, restaurants, bars, and shops... perfect for exploration. Our room was relatively spacious, well furnished and very clean. Staff is welcoming and polite. Breakfast could be better, but we ate out most days anyway.
Will probably come back to stay here.

The hotel and its rooms are clean, cozy and well maintained.
The staff was extremely helpful and always welcomed us with a smile. They gave us suggestions on where to eat and explained all the in-house facilities in detail.
Although I am Italian and spoke our native language they were all extremely clear when speaking English with my partner.
Breakfast was yummy and it offered more than your typical 'full breakfast'.
Perfect location to explore Rome in all its beauty!

Room tip: free wi-fi and mini-bar stocked up everyday

We stayed at the apartment which is around the corner from the hotel. The set up is perfect for a family. The bedroom where my husband and I slept had a window that opened to a corridor. There was an armour in the room with a safe ( that was not secured to anything). Conveniently behind the armour, there was another window. I woke up to what I thought were men in my room at 0600. I complained to the staff and they stated it was impossible. They are not suppose to start working until 0730-0800. I asked to have my room moved. They did. They then told me that they have no control over construction in that building because they just own the apartment. Not the best experience but breakfast was great! There also is no iron. We were directed down the block. It was something like 7 Euro to press one shirt.

Dear Gina ,
We're surprise about your review, however our best solution to the inconvenience caused by external works to our structure. now the point is ,
how it's possible post a judgment based on issues that have not been caused by the hotel? How can be inform you even we didn't know?.
Thank you anyway for your precious time .

I really appreciate the staff at Navona Colors. When we headed out for the day, they were very helpful telling us exactly what bus number and stop would be best for our journey. Also, they arranged an extremely early departure taxi to the airport. The room was nice, the shower did leak as others explained. The main bed was comfortable but the single bed would be best suited for a small child or teenager as it isn't very supportive. We certainly appreciated the a/c working so well. Breakfast has plenty of choices.,... we were especially grateful they brought our separate items for my daughter who needs gluten free choices. Overall great hotel.
