We stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch in Testaccio. We weren't expecting much but saw a €10 menu and decided to try it. What we got was a very original, beautifully prepared, all home made meal - mushroom barley soup (I'll try to copy this myself) followed by hand-made squash ravioli, carmelized vegetables, a fennel salad and spinach prosciutto toasts w smoked cheese. Everything was delicious and well seasoned and proportioned. The savory crepe we ordered was beautifully done, too. When we were done, the whole restaurant team sat down to their lunch and it felt like we were at an Italian family gathering. We topped things off with Gentiane and it made for a perfect lunch!
