We spent 5 days in Rome and this apartment was a perfect choice. The reviews are spot on. Awesome apartment. Quiet Street (compared to most streets in Rome). Two grocery stores within a few minutes walk. Lots of shopping. Campo de Fiori square, one minute slow walk away, has great activity, food, shopping... Francesco was great! Took real good care of us. This locations is right in the middle of all major sites. 25 min walk east to Vatican City, 25 min walk west to Colosseum, 22 min walk north to Spanish steps and everything in between. We also used the buses to get around. Super easy and the bus stops are a three minute walk away. When we come back we will stay here again.
Apartment was totally as advertised: clean, attractive furnishings, comfortable bed & a well equipped kitchen in a secure building with an elevator. Francesco met me upon arrival for a thorough walk-thru and was immediately responsive to additional questions via e-mail.
One can easily walk---or catch buses---to all the major sights in the city. There are cafes, bakeries, restaurants and 2 grocery stores within a three minute walk from the front door. I have already booked a return stay!
We stayed in Francesco's Campo de' Fiori apartment for two weeks, and it was superb. We've stayed in nearly a dozen holiday rental apartments across the world, and this was one of the best. It is perfectly located, we loved the artsy, vibrant location so close to all the big Rome attractions, and the locals in the neighbourhood were hospitable and warmly friendly.
Francesco is a terrific host: he is kind and responsive, and he made sure our needs were well catered for. The apartment is stylish and considerately designed, and we were wonderfully comfortable.
We chose to use the limousine service from and to the airport, and were very pleased. It's a quite a hike from Australia to Rome, so it was so reassuring to arrive at the airport to find our driver waiting for us. Francesco's assistant Eldwin greeted us upon our arrival, and also serviced the apartment during our stay, and he too was a delight to deal with.
This was our first trip to Rome, and I sincerely hope it won't be our last. And I hope we will again be able to stay at Francesco's apartment at Campo de' Fiori.
The apartment and the location were fantastic and we would happily stay there again.
Francesco (the owner) has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.
Good communication prior to book in. We appreciated the early book in and the limousine service to airport at the end of our stay - everything is made easy for you.
A folder with information of the area is provided in the flat - maps, restaurants, shops, taxi stands etc - making everything easy.
Nice and quiet, fully equipped and conveniently located. Francesco served us an espresso on our arrival and left us useful information on the neighborhood. We spent 5 days walking the old city.
We could not have found a more pleasant apartment for a one week stay in Rome in August. Certainly not the best month as so many restaurants an shops are closed and the heat can be oppressive. The apartment was a haven and perfect for 2 friends not sharing a bed, i.e. wonderfully spacious giving us lots of privacy.
I have not told Francesco yet, but I shall be back with another friend next March
This apartment is in a perfect location for exploring 'old Rome' and all it has to offer. Whether you are staying for a few days and want to see the major sights or are staying longer and want to immerse yourself in Italian life. Francesco is the perfect host, he met us on arrival with a welcome bottle of wine and the coffee pot all ready! The apartment is clean and well maintained and is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Francesco has thought of everything! The location is quiet even though you are only a few steps away from the Campo d' Fiori and it's daily market and a wealth of small artisan shops for fresh bread, cheese, charcuterie etc. There a many excellent restaurants within a few hundred yards, especially Da Pancrazio and Ristorante Campo di Fiori and the Pantheon and Piazza Navona are only 5 mins walk away. We spent 10 very enjoyable days staying in this apartment and would definitely book it again - grazie Francesco.
