Reviewed 24 March 2014

i stayed at "sweethouse cinzia" over the weekend of the Rome Marathon 2014. the host, chandra just can't do enough for you. the man never stops working to make his guests feel welcome. fresh sheets and towels and a thorough cleaning of the room every day. my room had it's own coffee machine and a kettle if you prefer tea. it is a 10 minute walk from the colluseum and 6 minutes walk from the main train station the nearest metro subway is just around the corner and there are some really good restaurants about 100 metres from the front door. most importantly for me was the peace and quiet in the room. the prices are good too, for what this B&B has to offer you'd be hard pushed to find better. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: there are only 4 rooms on one floor. just book early.

my girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in March.
we chose this place based on the outstanding reviews and were not dissapointed. Our host Chandra was more than hospitable and made us feel very welcome.

The included breakfast from a nearby cafe/shop was small but adequate and just what we needed to get our morning started.

the hotel itself has only 4 rooms so its more like having your own apartment really. we had a fridge, coffee machine and Chandra always made sure we had fresh fruit and water. all complimentary.

Room Tip: we stayed in 2 rooms as there was an overbooking and both rooms were en-suite and very comfortable.

We've been 4 nights in Rome, and this small hotel was just great!
All an economy traveler needs, completed room, good bed, good shower, cofee machine inside room, free water at refrigerator, free fruits, VERY close to subway, walking distance from Rome Termini, close to some small and super markets. The hotel outside it's an old building (as everyhting in Rome), but the inside is reformulated and simple modern.
It's a simple place but 5 star service, provided by Mr. Chandra, a great guy that will help you with anything you need.
Sure I'll be back at Sweet House Cinzia if I go back to Rome.

Room Tip: Ask for Mr. Chandra, the directions for the famous Gelatto!

My partner and I stayed at Sweet house/home Cinzia for 4 nights and were constantly impressed with the accommodation and the hospitality of the host, Chandra.
Perfect sized rooms (we changed part way through because Chandra thought the bigger room would be better for our needs - thank you!)
Included breakfast was fine, just next door at a cafe. We were also given a fruit basket, coffee, tea, milk and yoghurt in our room. The coffee machine in the room was excellent. And the small touches that have been made to make guests comfortable were much appreciated! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all Moroccan oil based and a very nice, unexpected surprise. The apartment is very clean and Chandra works hard each day to keep it and the rooms lovely.
Chandra was incredibly helpful with guidance for transport, directions, and things to do. He gave us a detailed run down of Rome when we first arrived which was great!
The location is spot on, close to the termini station, even closer to the next metro stop (Vittorio Emmanuel), an easy 10min walk to the colosseum and easy access to the main sights (we walked to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain and after metro trip to the Vatican we walked home from there too).
I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone coming to Rome and hope that we can return one day ourselves. Thank you for a lovely stay Chandra! :)

I was at B&B Sweethouse Cinzia, and it was beyond our expectations. We were late the day of our arrival, and our host Chandra waited for us in the street to help us carry our laggage. Our room had everything we nedded, even more. The fridge and coffee machine were a pleasent surprise. Chandra explained us everything, the perfect position of our accomodation because we were only 10 minutes of walk from Colloseum and also the easiest way to reach main roman monuments. The position of B&B Cinzia was just perfect, only a minute to nearest metro station, and just 1 station to the main Termini station.
Chandra provided us everything we needed, tea, coffee, milk, we got even champagne and pandoro cake for new year eve. We also could use his pc and print out whatever we needed, wi-fi connection available also.
Our stay was pleasent and we were satisfied with everything. Good work Chandra :-).

location - 10 minute walking distance to Roma Termini station, Colosseum, Basilisca Sata Maria Maggiori; 3 minute walk to Vittorio Emanuele train station.

internet - good connection in room and common areas.

surrounding ambience - passable

room cleanliness - very clean and it this price, I have never seen bottles of shampoo and Moroccan oil based body wash in the room.

SERVICE - The owner and Chandra who looks after the hotel will blow you over with their genuine care for your comfort during your stay.

ambience sound - The place is fairly quiet.

late check-out/early check-in - the owner will kindly oblige with no extra charge provided it doesn't inconvenience the scheduled arrival/departure of other guests.

breakfast - They will give you a breakfast voucher which can be used at a mini Chinese restaurant that is a 100m walk from the hotel. The breakfast quality however sucked. I personally didn't waste time going to the restaurant after my first visit.

value for money - top notch

Chandra is a friendly owner. He even offered to pick me up at Roma Termini.

The room is clean and comfortable. I got a single room with attached bathroom. The room is small but I am OK with it as most of the time I will be outside and I just need a place to sleep that is with privacy.

Guess what I got a fruit basket from Chandra! thanks Chandra.

Also, Chandra is so caring that he even personally put the breakfast voucher on my desk, just to be sure that I got it.

In all ways he is the right person to take care of you!
