“First trip to Roma!”
Reviewed 19 November 2013

This was my first trip to Roma. The Hotel Mancino 12 was perfectly located to all major tourist sites. Trevi fountain, pantheon, colosseum, etc. It is on a small side street making it very quiet yet central to everything. The rooms were very modern and super clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and come back in the future.

Very nice boutique hotel with good size modern rooms. Bathroom had nice fixtures, shower was very nice and bed very comfortable. But the best feature of this hotel is its location. It is within walking distance of pretty much everything but in a very quiet street. We did not have to take public transportation or taxis at all. Every night it was very quiet. We never heard noise from the street or other rooms. Breakfast is not good but there are many good options nearby. We had a very pleasant stay.

Lovely small hotel in a great location situated in a little alley type street making it so quiet allowing for a very peaceful sleep. Although in Central Rome and in an old building the interior of the hotel has modernised fittings and good power shower. Hair dryer provided does the job quite well. We didn't use any public transport at all during our stay and walked to all the main touristy sites including Vatican City with ease from Mancino 12. Didn't have breakfast here as there are lots of cafés nearby for morning cappuccino and pastries. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect, close to the Vittorio Emanuele Monument, Fontana di Trevi and the shoppingstreet - Corso. The street is very quiet.
The hotel is very modern in a minimalistic style. We really liked the room and bathroom. The bed was very good and the rooms were vey clean
The people in the reception was very helpful. The service was top.
You could choose to buy breakfast but it was not very good. White bread and sweet cakes. You could also have cereal and juice. The coffee was absolutely not good
I will absolutely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here in September and loved the location. The hotel was very nice. The staff was nice and friendly. They made some good suggestions for dinner. Breakfast was not very good so I would suggest having breakfast at one of the many cafes around the hotel.

This place is located in the absolute center of Rome making it possible to walk virtually anywhere you might want to go. The staff was courteous and helpful, taking time on check in to show us where the main sights in the city were located. They even snagged us a reservation at the Bourghese Gallery when we were unable to get one on the Gallery website. The rooms are large enough and quite modern. The bathroom has nifty high style faucets and lovely stainless steel light switches. The hotel is quite small and doesn't have a kitchen which means that the coffee comes from a machine and isn't the best we've had in this country of fabulous coffee. . On the other hand, it was free, as was the tea we enjoyed in the evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
