Perfect location and very nice room. Even though we had an external restroom, it actually worked out well because the room stayed very quiet in the mornings with no restroom noises. A quiet way to sleep in while someone else is getting ready.
The local coffee shop on the corner was a perfect starting point every morning. The prices are lower than anywhere else we tried and watching locals order mornings drinks was a unique experience.

Olimpia was a great host.

Absolutely perfect location, just 300 meters to the Colosseum. Still very quiet. Lovely clean rooms and very nice staff sums it up. Totally worth it. Would always go back there. Not much more to say, just seem to need to write more letters to make TripAdvisor happy enough to let me post this.

I booked my stay due to the high reviews on Tripadvisor / Booking.com.

Olympia was waiting there already so we could check in right away. She gave us a booklet on locations for restaurants, etc, and left us a map of the city in our room. There are also guide books to borrow on Rome outside the rooms. The room itself was airy and clean. We were staying 10 days so we had our towels changed every couple of days. We was able to pay for our stay with card on the first day as we were due to leave early on our departure.

The location is a perfect base for exploring all of the sights. The price was good value for money compared to all the other hotels in the area. I would definitely recommend it, and will book here again if I travel back to Rome.

Colosseo Panorama is based on the fourth floor in a residential apartment and not a B&B or hotel as such. It is just a private room.

Room Tip: Plenty of dining options nearby be it a restaurant to a patisserie shop. The room did not have any t...

Our first time in Rome, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay - fab location, views of the colosseum from our window, Wi-fi, air con, very little noise and a lovely bathroom with a spa bath and two sinks. Olimpia met us there and was incredibly helpful and left contact numbers if we needed any information. Such a beautiful building with a quaint lift and marble floors. Very luxurious, we felt like we lived there! If we ever return we'll definitely be staying here again!

I've been to Rome twice, and the second time decided to book at hotel a little closer to the sights. My friend and I didn't need a typical hotel (breakfast, reception, etc,) so we decided to try here based on the reviews I read. I'm so glad we did! We set up a time when we would be arriving, took the metro to the closest stop (5 min walk). Olympia was waiting there already, and we checked in promptly. She gave us tips on locations for supermarkets, restaurants, etc, and left us a map of the city. The room was beautiful and clean. We had a private external bathroom which was no problem. No one else used the restroom except for us, and it was around the corner. The Colosseum was visible from our window, granted you had to lean out a bit, but that was expected. There was air conditioning so you didn't have to leave your window open, since it is on a main street. The price was great compared to all the other hotels in the area. I would definitely recommend it, and will book here again if I travel back to Rome!

It's a newish hotel, in a good location near the Colosseum, and within walking distance to the old centre (if you like a good walk, that is!). Comfortable bed, with a good bathroom; ours had two sinks! And a fridge. Wifi in the room, as well. We had a lovely welcome from Olimpia, who gave us good advice, especially about a Sicilian cafe for breakfast round the corner..

A big, big plus is the ability to leave the case there on the day of departure and pick it up in the evening. A small minus: our room, at the front, was noisy without windows shut (though the aircon worked very well); even a bit noisy with them shut. And one day the room was not made up when we came back in the evening. But overall this is excellent value for Rome.

Room Tip: We had a spa room: very good size, big bathroom.
