This was my favoured location for breakfast on a recent trip to Rome. Right by Cavour metro it’s always busy, but the service is quick and attentive. Excellent choice of pastries and panini and very good coffee.

My wife and I stumble across this place as we were walking the streets one morning. When we walked in we were greeted by an amazing aroma of freshly baked croissants and coffee....perfect! The staff were very kind and friendly. They open 5.30am and the variety of Lunch salads look amazing, a good break from having pasta and pizza every meal time. Enjoy!

We stumbled upon this place on our evening walk and were drawn in by the live music. We both did the happy hour routine for €8 that included one drink plus a buffet. They delivered a free Proseco as we sat down, and then a very good Aperol Spritz. The buffet was mostly cold items, pasta, salads, sandwiches etc. but the bartender did offer to heat anything we wanted. It was all pretty good cold so we were ok. The live music was provided by a talented young man, Matteo Gravante and since we were enjoying the mix of Italian and English songs we stayed and ordered extra drinks for only €5 each. It’s definitely worth checking out if you are walking around the area.

Its a really nice place to have your breakfast! The breakfast is super good, the staff is really nice and take care of their customers! Really good location, close to the subway! They have good opening hours. Their crossaints with jam are worth a try!

We stumbled upon Er Caffettiere in the late afternoon after exploring the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. Needless to say, my friend and I were exhausted. We needed a quick snack before dinner, as we'd skipped lunch. This place was extremely friendly, especially opposed to other experiences we've had in Rome where our service has be terrible. The coffee was high quality, and the staff was kind and accommodating. We both got the large mixed plate of the prepared foods. They had a wide selection of delicious dishes including, cooked carrots, spinach, barley mixed salad, a puttanesca style pasta, mushrooms balls, prosciutto and more! Would highly recommend this to people looking for a casual & fast dining experience. Not exactly the sit-down gourmet dinner though, in my opinion. They do serve alcohol though! I imagine this would be a great happy hour spot.
