Myself and my partner visited Rome for 3 night stay and found this hotel online. We arrived at about 1830 and was checked in by a lady receptionist who gave as a map, explained about breakfast and that our room was not in the main hotel. We were taken next door, and up some stairs. The room was as expected from pictures on this site. The room was not dirty. The bed wasn't the best I've slept in. The real negative for me was how thin the walls were. You could hear everything right down to exact words spoken. The shower was really good!

Breakfast despite mixed reviews was very good and I would take a nice continental breakfast over a poorly cooked one anyday. Croissants, yogurts, bread, jam, cereal and fresh to made coffee and hot chocolate.

Location was everything to this hotel the colosseum is 10 minutes down the road. We walked to the Spanish steps. In 30mins and that was just strolling. Plenty of places to eat, drink. Out of the hotel and towards the colosseum is a fountain and that is a hive of activity all day long with people meeting for drinks, lunch chats.

The reception staff were all very helpful and gave us very good instructions with getting to places by bus & also a recommendation to eat.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cheers guys and girls

We stayed here for 3 nights on the last part of our trip. We were recommended to stay here by friends of ours however we did not have the same experience as they did. Once we checked in, we were taken outside to a neighbouring building and shown our room there. The room was not very clean and was definitely the worst of our 2 weeks in Italy. I also think I was bitten by bed bugs here as I only noticed the day I arrived home. We found out after coming home that our friends stayed in the main building which they loved, so if you are thinking about reserving here, request the main building. Besides the poor room, the location was great. Within walking distance from the train station and just down the street from the Colleseum. Breakfast was basic. Room was on the main street which was noisy when it turned into a street party the night before we left. Overall we were not satisfied.

Room Tip: Ask for main building

This hotel was our home for a week - it has what it takes: bed, bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator and no more. Breakfast is yoghurt, toast with butter, cheese, nutella and honey, muesli, cornflakes, cake and something like crispbread. It is open all day and very friendly service. LOCATION IS EVERYTHING just minutes from the Coliseum and just minutes from the metro station. Visit the small square with a fountain - which is very cozy and always packed with people. Opposite is the ice cream shop and wine bar. On the same street there are plenty of small shops and not so tourist-like.

This hotel has a great location for walking around Rome. The rooms are efficient as most European hotels are and very clean. We had a small balcony overlooking the back courtyards. It provided a glimpse of Italian life. The breakfast was good. The best part of breakfast was that you could order your coffee and the cappuccino was excellent. The staff changed constantly so I can't really say much about their service. There was one woman who was very knowledgeable and helpful, I can not remember her name but she told us she is from Nairobi. The only complaint I have is the beds and pillows are awful. The bed consisted of a 5 to6 inch thick mattress that I believe was cotton filled and it was on a platform. It was very hard, had no give at all and the pillows were thin flat slabs also hard. Good value for the price but more comfortable beds would be nice and would make this an excellent choice.

The main hotel room was very nice but unfortunately we first stayed in the rooms opposite until the hot water system broke. The staff were helpful. Breakfast is basic but the best reason to use this hotel is the location is perfect. You are near to all the major sights with the coliseum at the end of the road. The hotel was clean and apart from the moving of rooms it would have been wonderful for our short stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay here, and as a young couple we couldn't have felt more looked after. We were on a budget and price wise this was a great option for us. The staff were extremely friendly from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, and spoke very good English. Our room was a perfect size, with a double bed, air con, a safe, a fridge, en suite bathroom and a tv. Breakfast was the same each day, but was more than adequate for us.

Location wise it couldn't have been more perfect. The Colosseum is visible from the minute you leave the front door and is just a 5 minute walk down the road. Other attractions are also within easy walking distance like the Trevi fountain, Pantheon, even the Spanish steps. There's also fantastic restaurants and gelato shops, again all within easy walking distance. We even walked from Termini station to the hotel on our arrival in Rome (about 15 mins,) but taxis are also available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and I'd recommend it to any traveller who wants to stay in the heart of the city for a fantastic price.

You can't fault this hotel for its location, in a nice area and walking distance to most attractions. Staff friendly and helpful. The one downside is the room wasn't as clean as I would of liked. The carpet needed a good Hoover and bed sheets weren't changed, also had to ask for clean towels as they weren't provided. Other than that the location was ideal with a fab bakery up the road on the right and a lovely ice cream shop opposite
