Just spent a very pleasant four days in sunny Rome staying at the Hotel Lillium, tucked away behind vast wooden doors it really felt like you were being let into a secret sanctom away from the busy street, room was small but cosy with sheltered balcony, breakfast room was beutifull

I was visiting Rome after having lived there for 3 years. This hotel felt authentic and it felt like home. Subtle, well designed, simple; nice continental breakfast. Back in the land where the pasta is al dente and the coffee tastes like milkshakes.

Conveniently located and staff is nice.

Safe place. Near the Ministry of Defence and the Central Bank. The police do not need it.
Central Station nearby. But far to not interfere.
Hot croissants for breakfast. Little thing but nice.
A room with a balcony. Illuminated and table with benches.
In winter the summer in Rome. You drink wine and below the story of life.
Here everything is fair. Everything is working. Water pressure, shower, toilet.
Minimum staff. But effective.
Uniqueness. The rooms are painted. The premises in the painting.
You can keep things on the day of departure. No problems.
Around the corner (10 meters) restaurant. La Delizia wine and meat. Ice cream and coffee.
Bus directly next door.
In walking distance to points of Interest (by Moscow standards).
Before arriving confirm the exact location of the entrance to the hotel.
Relax and nothing to think!

Thank you per stay!
Alexey P.

I've travelled alot in my life and Been and seen awful hotels.
This one is one of them. The staff is absolutely redicilous, from the reception guy that looks and acts in a creepy way, to the breakfast room girl, that never smiled in her life.
It looks like you get into one of those horror movies with a haunted hotel, that in any minute everybody gonna freak out!!

Also hotel is verrrrry noisy and u wake u have to wake up at 8 because the upper floor is having workers .

Very convenient location - close to the main attractions in Rome. At the same time - not far from the train station Termini but not too close. Clean and comfortable rooms. Located in a residential home. Rather B&B but not a full hotel. Not bad for the price-to-quality (110 euros per day). The minuses - old small TVs in the rooms, but they are not needed in Rome! Very friendly staff, always willing to help.

This hotel was a little hard to find, hidden away on a strret in Rome and getting to the hotel was a bit of a task due to a not so safe looking lift or about 5 flights of stairs as the option to reaching it.
However, once in the hotel the service was very friendly and helpful, the staff had no problems helping me with directions and explaining the city, as well as the hotels features with me in length.
The hotel was very basic but the room was clean and well equipped including a very well priced mini-bar.
I booked the hotel online however the payment is not taken until after your stay, so that is something to be aware of.
The hotel was a short walk from the Metro (train station) and the orange trees on the street added a nice scenic veiw.
This hotel was very well priced for what you get, including breakfast and it has a nice feel, with unique decoration in the foyer.
It is a fair distance from the airport and from a lot of main attractions but with public transport nearby it was worth the stay considering the room was very decently priced.

Room Tip: On the website it is specified which rooms are quiter etc.

We booked the Lilium with no references from others. We were so very impressed with all aspects of this intimate, small hotel. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and well-appointed. I loved the flooring in the hallway - may sound odd, but it was stunning - wide, wood panels in a deep purple/aubergine, finished with a high gloss (this does not mean it is slippery!). The staff was excellent - beautiful people in both appearance and action.

Breakfast excellent!
