“Lilium Hotel so quaint and clean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

Wonderful hotel - very clean and funky decorating - handpainted walls, furniture and a breakfast room to die for. Small (as are most) but well equipped, taken care of and run. Breakfast was beautifully presented with awesome expresso/cappuccino. Nice view and a small balcony. Free wifi - no issues. Good location. Would stay again.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel. Good location for getting to the main attractions. Nice room which was larger than expected because I had booked the small room. Good breakfast and pleasant obliging staff. It is a little tricky to find however it is worth it.

Lilium Hotel is centrally located close to Termini, Piazza di Spagna and other sites of Rome. It is very convenient regarding the location, romantic, with very good breakfast and clean. I liked the building because it was typical of Rome. The only disadvantage is that because of the fact that it centrally located, it is noisy during day and night and we were not able to sleep well. At the opposite corner of the hotel there is one of the best gelateria of Rome, I liked to see people waiting in the line. We had a nice view of the surrounding streets from our balcony at room 25 I think.

This is a very nice hotel with a central locating. Fifteen minute walk from the Termini train station and near to most sites in Central Rome. Somewhat difficult to find unless you know what you are looking for, but once you are through the big door and walk up a half a flight of steps, you can take the lift to the 3rd floor and open the entry door to the reception area. The desk personnel were cordial and helpful, and the rooms clean. Most rooms have a refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was larger than most small hotels in the area. The breakfast was more than the standard continental breakfast with the addition of a variety of meats and cheeses. The hotel is right on a busy street so you can't avoid the sounds of the city.

This is a good place to stay in central Rome at a reasonable price (130 euros per night for a double).

An odd location that doesn't even look like a hotel. But enter the courtyard, up the tiny elevator a few flights and you are in the very comfortable and clean Lilium. If I had one drawback, it would be that no matter where you are, the street noise of Rome is never too far away.

Simple but stylish, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Continental breakfast nice and served in lovely airy room, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Happy to make me hot chocolate as I don't drink coffee. First time in Rome and the hotel had character, but felt at home straight away.

Just spent a very pleasant four days in sunny Rome staying at the Hotel Lillium, tucked away behind vast wooden doors it really felt like you were being let into a secret sanctom away from the busy street, room was small but cosy with sheltered balcony, breakfast room was beutifull
