Owner description: All Saints' is an open-minded and welcoming Anglican community in the heart of Rome. Our main service is the Sunday Choral Eucharist at 10:30, we also offer other services throughout the week, from Holy Communion to Choral Evensong. Our building is a very fine red-brick church in the Victorian Neo-Gothic style, located in the Via del Babuino, about 100 metres from the Spanish Steps. We hope you can join us, the Church of England welcomes you! Please Notice: This is the TripAdvisor page of the church, if you would like to write a recension of the Opera, we invite you to do so on their page. Thank you.

“Opera in the Church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014 via mobile

We've been to All Saints many times to see opera galas, or the real thing semi-staged. We are always impressed with the high standard of singers and musicians. And the acoustics in the church are, of course, fantastic. Do go if you have a chance as it was so poorly attended it was almost embarrassing. These guys need support but owing to poor marketing, not many people realise that this gem exists.

The interior has some interesting tributes to British soldiers who fell on the retaking of Italy in the Second World War

“Impressive on the outside, inside - much less.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2014

This is a decent church by the Spanish steps.
From the outside, the brick walls of the church makes a very good impression, but the interiors surely leave a lot to be desired.
The acoustics is not optimal, too.
Still, worth visiting for 5 minutes.

“Lovely Neo-gothic church on Via del Babuino”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

This church is a surprise and a refreshing change from all the splendidly rich Baroque churches of Rome. It's a Neo-gothic red brick church with truly lovely stained glass. Amazingly, despite the noise and bustle of Via del Babuino a few steps away, the church is an utterly peaceful oasis. The church entrance, with an interesting dome, is under a tower visible from the street. There are several interesting memorials, including one to the British landing at Anzio and the Liberation of Rome on June 5, 1944. If you are strolling Via del Babuino, this is certainly worth a short visit.

“Beautiful dignified church”

Quiet dignified beautifully kept church. An Oxford movement gem. Worth a visit especially for a contrast with most Rome churches, and also for a glimpse of the history of English expatriates.

“Architectural visitor”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013

After all the extrovert Baroque splendour of neighbouring churches All Saints seems very straight laced and sober in comparison. A bit like a teetollar in a wine shop. But it is not without its charms. High Victorian Gothic might not be everyone's favourite style but All Saints seems very well cared for and what with the atmospheric lighting it makes a visit well worthwhile. It's also used as a concert venue and I should imagine the acoustics are very good.
