A lovely hotel. First thing you notice is the decor , elegantly done . Rooms and amenities were very clean. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Good selection of food for breakfast. Convenient location , only two minutes walk from the Spanish steps and near to good shopping area. I would recommend and would stay here again.

Room Tip: room we had was small but adequate for time we spent in them. There are larger rooms available.

The Hotel was excellent and staff were all very helpful and welcoming. It felt like home away from home. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, I find this very important and have been disappointed in other Rome Hotels. The Manfredi is a find and the Hotel has improved itself even further since our last visit some years ago. Worth it, on all levels and the location, just a minute away from Piazza di Spagna, is just perfect.

We stayed in Hotel Manfredi for 3 nights visiting Rome for a weekend. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It's a very comfortable lovely hotel. It's right at the centre of Rome so you can walk pretty much anywhere from here - the Spanish steps are a couple of minutes away. It's also very close to the Via Del Corso - the main shopping street in Rome.
The room itself was small but very comfortable - it was a "Superior" room. The hotel breakfast was delicious! The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to be super helpful!
Just a delightful place and if I go back to Rome again I know where I'll be staying!

We stayed in the Hotel Manfredi Suite for two nights visiting Rome part on business and part for leisure. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff were charming, welcoming and very helpful. Having arrived early we were able to leave our bags and were quickly on our way to make the most of every moment of the time in Rome.

This isn't a big hotel and the bar and lounge areas are quite small - but they were never busy or noisy while we were there. We had a superior room on the second floor (overlooking a courtyard - room 201) which was a reasonable size and unlike other reviewers we had great (free) wifi connection at all times. It was very quiet and we were able to have the window open at night.

Although a bit more expensive than other options we felt the hotel represented good value for money. Although the lift is charmingly antique the hotel has retained some of the palazzo style and decoration is high quality with carpets in corridors that absorb the sound of foot steps. There were plenty of hangers and space for cases and clothes. The bed was large and comfortable, bed linen and pillows were good quality, large bath towels, high quality fittings (especially in the bathroom) and little extras mean you can travel quite light and stay here (gels, shampoo, tissues, magnifying mirror, shoe cleaning, body lotion all provided). Large safe was also included in price as were films on TV. There were no extras to pay for: we were even able to borrow a hotel umbrella for the one day of rain. We didn't use the mini bar but we did make use of the glasses and bottle opener! Breakfast was good and relaxed.

Location is fantastic - just a few minutes from the Metro with a couple of circular route buses (117 and 119) just steps away which meant you could easily connect to trains and trams to travel further afield. But being central in Rome lots of the sights were also walking distance and also many restaurants to choose from (and some excellent shopping). We'd definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Room Tip: Worth paying extra for larger rooms

Having just stayed at this lovely hotel I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the heart of Rome. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, over the river to the Vatican City and by walking we came across some wonderful hidden gems.
Our room, double deluxe, was very nice and clean, quiet, and certainly large enough for us! Reception is 24 hours and the staff spoke good English and very helpful, I am sure they would go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, which ours was! As for breakfast, I love continental breakfasts so I was in my element, lots of scrummy cakes, croissants, yoghurts, fresh fruit, breads, cheese, cereal, and for my husband egg (scrambled), bacon, and frankfurter type sausages......shame we had to leave so early on our last day as I missed the breakfast! For anyone worrying about it being on the third floor, there is a one person lift.....One little gripe, our stock of shampoo etc was never replenished in the four days we were there but if we had been that worried we could have mentioned it at reception and they would have done something about it so.....
Thank you for contributing to our wonderful days in Rome :-)

Room Tip: Double deluxe was plenty big enough for the two of us, we were one floor down from reception, shower...

Dear Guest
first of all thank you very much for choosing us and leaving this wonderful post.
I apologize to you for not filling up the shampoo, I assure you that after your report we are now much more careful and attencion.
Our location is the best to visit Rome because the major tourist attractions of the city are within walking distance: Colosseum, Villa Borghese, Vatican Museums , Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, Parlament, the Victorian. We are 100 meters from the Spanish Steps and we are in the most famous shopping area in Italy.
The staff tried to make you feel at home, they are multilingual and always try to do the best to make your visit to Rome unforgettable.
The breakfast is complitely home made by pastry chef and everything is fresh. The drinks such as coffee, milk, juice, tea, are served at the bar and freshly prepared by the bartender. Your room is definitely one of the most spacious and beautiful, but also the other rooms are equipped with every comfort.
I hope to come back and see us again.
Best Regards
Giovanni Argentina.
