We ate here on our first night in rome - walking around trying to find a suitable place to eat in terms of budget and atmosphere at 20:30 at night is like looking for a needle in a haystack , everywhere else was filled with either locals or tourists ,
We stumbled upon Bruna's sandwich shop - her shop was very small but quaint and quite empty compared to other cafes , this was a concern as I was told by many friends that if a place was empty it will not be good . In this case my friends were totally wrong !!
Bruna was incredibly welcoming and suggested some panini fillings for us - you chose your bread meat , cheese , salad : there is also and enormous choice of meat from home made burgers to home made sausages to locally made procuito (everything is either locally sourced or home made )
I can honestly say my panini was stuffed with filling literally over flowing - so you seriously get your money's worth - and oh my Word was it delicious, literally the best I've tasted by far
I'm salivating whilst writing this !!
Bruna could not be nicer / friendlier - gave me some tips in understanding the language , and some travel suggestions.
If you ever find yourself hungry late at night with no where to eat ( other than kebab shops) go to Bruna's - she is warm welcoming and truly delightful .
For afters there is a great gelato/coffee shop next door
