An unforgettable experience: the warm welcome of Maurizio and Maria Luisa, the welcome drinks; the luxurious 5 star rooms which were contemporary yet comfortable with everything taken into consideration, including the provision of a variety of food and drink in the fridge for breakfast the next morning. Beautiful peaceful landscaped gardens. 2 minutes walk from the Via Appia, and only a short bus ride to the centre of Rome.
Our only regret was that we stayed only one night. We are definitely planning to return next time we visit Rome. Why choose anywhere else?

Dear Giulia1964,

It’s never too late to say: thank you, mostly if it is about something happened in the Eternal City.

We are all very happy to hear that you had a pleasant stay here with us, as that is the goal we all work towards. We want every person that comes here to have the best experience we can offer, so we put all our efforts, be it a lift to the near metro station or a little bit of complimentary comfort food in the fridge, or simply the desire of sharing a glass of wine while chatting in the garden. An then it turns out that sometimes, the word "effort" means "with love".

If you felt welcome, as if at a friend’s house, then why not to come again?

Time flies and sometimes, we like to read past reviews from our friends, scrolling down words and thoughts coming from the past. Latin people used to say: “Verba volant, scripta manent”. spoken words fly away, written words remain. There is always something that makes us smile and give us strength to go on In this bunch of written souvenirs. A big thank you to you, dear Nadia R, you are part of this bunch coming from the past, but the feeling you had while here at AAR will be Eternal, like this city.

We wait for you to come again.

Cannot say enough about the fantastic resort! So conveniently located to central Rome and
right in the midst of the Ancient Appian Way.. We were so welcomed by the gracious hosts who provided us with valuable information for sightseeing, dining and travelling either by car or bus.

The resort itself was gorgeous with a beautifully decorated apartment stocked with all the amenities we needed and more such as a fully packed fridge, washer and lovely garden outside for our leisure.

We can hardly wait to visit Rome again and now know we have the perfect place to return to!

The place has very practical and original (contemporary) design inside out. Both the garden and the historic area surrounding the property are beautiful. The people are very warm and welcome, extremely helpful, organised and considerate - there were free drinks, wines, and even presents for the little ones. Obviously they go the extra mile to offer an unforgettable stay without cutting corners and with no hidden extras. This is, if not unique in my experience, then quite rare. Their suggestions were excellent and all in all it was an unforgettable stay. Looking forward to meet them again!

Rome ist my favorite city and this is the best place to stay! The hosts are the most lovely people, the appartments are all new, very tastefully equipped, and just a few steps away from Via Appia Antica.

Beautifully secluded with in the ancient relics of Appia Antica and conveniently surrounded by a great cafés, pizzarias and mini-supermarket with only 20 minutes drive from the centre of Rome, the resort is simply great. The owners and care takers were at hand for immediate advise and help.No effort is spared in decorating the flat with taste and practicality. Together with the children we had wonderful meals in the garden and enjoyed the ambiance and the company.

Room Tip: Garden level flat has large rooms and spacious kitchen.
