Dear Mikhail067,

It’s never too late to say: thank you, mostly if it is about something happened in the Eternal City.

We are all very happy to hear that you had a pleasant stay here with us, as that is the goal we all work towards. We want every person that comes here to have the best experience we can offer, so we put all our efforts, be it a lift to the near metro station or a little bit of complimentary comfort food in the fridge, or simply the desire of sharing a glass of wine while chatting in the garden. An then it turns out that sometimes, the word "effort" means "with love".

If you felt welcome, as if at a friend’s house, then why not to come again?

We stayed for four nights The two bedroom apartment was very modern and very well stocked with new clean equipment The fridge was also well stocked. The landscaped gardens are lovely with areas to seat and eat The bus stop is just outside this gated property with 3 buses to the city journey takes about 15 minutes the kiosk by the bus stop is where you can buy your tickets. The owners are brilliant and speak very good English on our first night we were shown all the sights from maps which they supplied which was very helpful they also explained the history of the area. They are obviously very proud of where they live. It is will worth seeing the local historic sights. Local restaurants are very good and suit all budgets. We have already recommended to friends

Dear gjewson,

Time flies and sometimes, we like to read past reviews from our friends, scrolling down words and thoughts coming from the past. Latin people used to say: “Verba volant, scripta manent”. spoken words fly away, written words remain. There is always something that makes us smile and give us strength to go on In this bunch of written souvenirs. A big thank you to you, dear gjewson, you are part of this bunch coming from the past, but the feeling you had while here at AAR will be Eternal, like this city.

We wait for you to come again.

Absolutely lovely and modern...This is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we've ever stayed at! Our 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment was very comfortable. The owners go out of their way to help with the sightseeing plans. They gave us many wonderful tips to explore the "Via Appia Antica" (Appian Road). Our children felt right at home here...The beds were comfortable, we loved the decor. The kitchen was very handy... You'll find many goodies in the fridge and in the pantry to prepare your own breakfast. We were there for the "New Year's Eve" and the owners surprised us with a bottle of delicious "prosecco". This was a sweet gesture and we appreciated it....

Reading all these "excellent" reviews on Tripadvisor, our expectations were very high. After a wonderful week in Rome we only can agree: the place is superb. The Appia Antica Resort appartments are spacious and with passion and taste decorated. It has a lovely garden and easy access to Rome. The place is very clean and well maintained. The very nice owners surprised us with a pile of maps and brochures of the area as well as addresses of great local restaurants (some on walking distance), which was very helpful during our visit. Staying in Appia Resort is living in the middle of the historic foundations of our civilazation. We can recomment the resort to everyone interested in visiting Rome.

Room Tip: All appartments are equally nice equipped.

Spending most of our time travelling around Europe due to work it is an absolute godsend to find such a wonderful, peaceful gem such as this.
The apartment is excellent in every way, clean, comfortable and very well equipped.
The owners are most charming and very informative and very very proud and knowledgable about this beautiful city.
There are plenty of great local family restaurants in the area which in our experience are far more welcoming than any faceless 'downtown' restaurants.
The area is just the right distance from the centre to be relaxing whilst being close enough to visit any of the numerous historical sites the city has to offer.
If you want to be within strolling distance of designer shops and chain and restaurants then this may not be your choice but if you want history, luxury and real, friendly and charming People then please give this a go, you won't be disappointed.

The two-room flat was beautiful and clean. After long days in Rome it was relaxing to come back "home". There were good, Italian family-restaurants in walking distance and the owner booked our tables so that the restaurants warmly welcomed us. The best thing was morning walks at the Via Appia Antica - kilometers with 2000 year old flat stones lined with green trees, fields and ancient monuments. The owners have collected the best of historical and present-day maps of Rome and explained so well the best things to do and see in Rome (e.g. the best ever ice-cream :-) ) They also showed us the beautiful aqueducts.
