“Trastevere apartment”
Reviewed 14 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This apartment is really well situated for visiting Rome. I was able to walk to all the major attractions, and there are shops, cafes, a tram line and taxi rank nearby. It felt like a very safe and friendly neighbourhood. The apartment was quite comfortable, and very quiet at night. Unfortunately, though, it's a bit dark, with the only window (in the bedroom) looking out onto a rather grotty space between buildings. The owners were helpful and friendly, and everything worked fine in the apartment. An electric kettle would be a great addition for those of us who are tea-drinkers!

Dear Guest, we are pleased that you have recognized Trastevere as the beating heart of Rome.
Trastevere is the oldest neighborhood of one of the oldest cities in the world, and its buildings reflect the design criteria of the time.
Obviously we can not make structural changes to buildings to satisfy the needs of our guests.
The only possibility to reside in modern and updated buildings is to stay in suburban areas, thus losing the real charm of ancient Rome.
Honestly.

“Trastevere”
Reviewed 14 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

A perfect situation for a short visit to Rome - central, near essential shops & cafes & restaurants - Trastevere has a life all its own, and it is close to tram/bus routes and the rest of the city. The photos on the site are a bit misleading : it is not quite as sunny and bright as it would seem. (Quite dark in fact). The studio is adequate if you are just intending to spend the night and breakfast. BUT a small microwave would be a good idea. As would a electric kettle. Perhaps an iron? The hair dryer is there but the plug does not seem to fit any socket.

Dear Guest,
I am very sorry if your stay at our place has not fully respected your expectation.
We made the pictures in spring and maybe they appear brighter, but that was the light that day,
and the apartment brighting isn’t under my control.
The neighborhood of Trastevere is one of the oldest in Rome and in these buildings the windows smaller than the current were used to avoid the heat, when the air conditioners were not yet invented.
Thank you for suggesting us to provide a microwave and a kettle, we will think about it.
Regarding hairdryer we always provide an adaptor, and I am sorry if you didn’t find it, it might got lost and I didn’t realize
in advance, but if you had told me during your stay, i would have provided one immediately. We really appreciate your suggestions as they are very useful for us to improve our service and make sure that in the future
guests will be more satisfied.
Sincerely
The staff

“quiet nights in central Rome and everything you need”

We spent 3 nights in this apartment. The days were spent out. The apartment offers everything you need if you consider spending your days out and nights in - kitchen, bed, private shower and even a television. The apartment is situated perfect between restaurants, bars, cafées and sites. The best about the apartment is though the total quiet nights which you need after a day in the lively Rome.
