We stayed here in the last week of May for 3 nights. The hotel is on a main road and is a good place for exploring the city. Termini station is about 10mins walk and coliseum is about 15mins walk. You need a good map to find your way around though!

The hotel is basic and you have a climb up two flights of spiral stairs. A killer after all the exploring! The room was small but did the job. The place was clean. We never tried breakfast. Staff were pleasant enough.

Overall the best thing about the hotel is the location. So if you want a no frills base for a short stay in Rome this is the place for you. If you were hoping for something more, then you might want to try somewhere else. Either way your guaranteed to have a great time in this wonderful city!

Some of the reviews for this place are a little unfair. It is an old building with a quirky little elevator, the rooms aren't super stylish, but, it has great a.c satellite TV, free WiFi and is within 20 mins of most tourist areas with the Vatican being about 50 min walk. This is my 3rd night here and breakfast has been fresh every day and as we visited with a barista in our party, I can honestly say the coffee served here is really good. The staff have been very helpful and polite, and I would return and recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Where to start with a place like this. It is in a very convenient position close to Rome attractions and Termini Station and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The problems are manifest when you get to the room. We were travelling in a party of four, two couples in two rooms. Both rooms where the same price but certainly not the same quality. The first room had a beautiful parquet floor, fresco style painted ceiling and spacious modern bathroom. The other room, while large (it managed to have one large double bed and two singles!) looked and felt more like a youth hostel. It was badly furnished and the bathroom was awful. The bed was uncomfortable and made a loud noise every time you turned over. Breakfast was pitiful. Orange squash, bad coffee, and stale croissants. But as an added treat there were rotting apples.
The other problem was access. Reception is on the first floor (actually three flights of steps) and although there is a lift of sorts it was very ancient and small.

It was a good job we were there for only two nights.

Room Tip: Ask to see rooms first they vary greatly in quality although they are the same price.

This hotel is all about location, which is fantastic, very central with the Vatican City being about the furthest thing away but easily reached by the underground.
Room was clean but in need of a makeover. Our room faced Via Nationale which is a very busy cobbled noisy street which could be heard at all hours.
The breakfast is very basic but fills a gap till lunchtime, nothing hot except the wonderful coffee served by the two lovely signore. Don't get me wrong I was very pleased with the breakfast as this meal can turn out to be an expensive meal sometimes when you may only want a coffee n toast.
Very happy with our stay, but to be honest was only in it to sleep at night. Another welcoming thing was the free WiFi which should be standard these but sometimes is charged for but bigger hotels, well done St Moritz.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that does not face on to Via Nationale, which is very busy/noisy

Upon arrival the member of staff was very helpful , showed us to our room and to be fair its small but enough for what we needed, after offloading our stuff we hit the city,At night all was quiet and ok but if u want a lie in you may not get one noisy in the mornings . And breakfast was poor mainly down to not being able to sit down as only a few tables think they having work done to extend the seating im not sure so we just went out for breakfast . Overall the room was clean . A good place to sleep and if thats all you need its perfect due to the location .

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It has a very good location and you can reach most of Rome's most popular attraction by foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Roberto who helped us a lot before and during our stay. We recommend this hotel a lot for its reasonable price and very helpful staff!

Everything seems to be old. The shower in the bathroom was terrible, disgusting and repulsive. It seems like they did not clean it for a long time

Todo parecia ser muy viejo. La ducha estaba muy sucia, la mugre y hongos se notaban en todas las juntas de los azulejos. Parecia que no lavaban el baño desde hace mucho
