This restaurant was just a block away from the apartment we rented in Rome, right by the Trevi fountain. We went pretty early in the evening, and it was not crowded. The ambience of the restaurant was nice, kind of modern and chic. But it was the food that really sold us. We had really fresh mojitos to start, then a cheese plate. Several different types of cheese, plus bowls of onion jam and apple preserves. It was a generous portion for three people, but it still disappeared really quickly, so good!
We each had a different dish, and they were all great: cacio e pepe (must get this at some point if you're in Rome, lots of places have it, it's very simple but very delicious), pizza margherita with buffalo mozzarella, and lemon ravioli.
Our waitress was friendly and helpful, too. Just a really lovely evening all around. One caveat: it is a little pricy, maybe in part because of its location, but I'd say it was well worth the splurge. Just take your time and enjoy, no one's going to rush you!
If we ever get the chance to return to Rome, I would definitely seek out this place again.
