The hotel itself is great. I had to stay there for 3 nights, clean rooms, good breakfast but it is too far from the city center. If you want to see Rome's tourist attractions, you have to waste 2 hours of your day back and forth.

As for the TV and wi-fi, you have to pay for them and the wi-fi is only at the lobby

Hotels location is so far. We get everyday bus 211 to the metro. 7 day ticket cost 24 € and you can use metro and bus with it. Im happy that we realized metrobus card, because hotels "bus" had only 8 seats (always full) and it cost everytime. I recommened that metrobus card, which has nothing to do with a hotel. Breakfast its not good at all. Everyday only bread, cheese and ham. And couple differend cerial. Staff is not friendly, its feels awkward to talk with them.. they dont even say "hi" If i go Rome someother time, i going to stay some hotel near termini

The rouge et noir to me is a 3 star hotel not a 4.I stayed there for three nights and value for money I found it very good.
The rooms were clean the staff helpful the only downside was the it is very far from the airport but they do provide a shuttle bus to the train station.
The breakfast was satisfactory but I thought the €3 for the pool was a bit unfair as they let outsiders in and it was always so full of people not very relaxing.
Would go back for sure vale for money in Rome can't beat it!!!

The hotel is far from Rome, 7 stops with the Metro. But, you have to walk 2km, take the shuttle bus, or drive. It's in the middle of nowhere, and the hotel rooms has old air-condition(witch doesn't work very well), uncomfortable beds and you have to pay extra for everything.

If you want to go for a swim, you have to pay €3 extra per person. In the morning they started construction work(06:00), and the temperature in the room wasn't under 30 degrees during the night.

I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone, it's probably more comfortable to sleep in your car or in a tent.

Very bad location, no air conditioned in the Breakfast room, they have a pool but you need to pay 3€ per person per day. Some staff are nice, some are not. Rooms in poor shape but clean (the most important). Won't go back but if you travel on a budget, can be a good compromise.

The room was big, clean and nice. There is air-conditioning and a fridge and a balcony.
The staff was very kind. There is a restaurant and a coffee bar in the hotel.

BUT:
The wi-fi connection is only at the reception.

There is a small swimming pool next to the hotel, but you have to pay 3€ for using it!

There is a "bus" from the hotel to the metro station, but the "bus" is only for 8 persons and does not go very often. Usually there were waiting more than 20 persons for that bus. If you rather want to use the public bus, the bus stop is 5 minutes walk away, but we were waiting there half an hour (or more).

The breakfast consists of croissants (more kinds), bread, salami, cheese, more kinds of cereals. But there is not no fruits or vegetables and any hot food! There are round tables for 8 persons and not enough for all. So you have to share it with someone else.

Room Tip: Ask for the room NOT next to the elevator!
