We stayed here as part of a Cosmos tour so no idea of cost but I hope it's pretty cheap!! Quite small hotel but that's not unusual in Rome, and in one of the rooms there was VERY little room between one of the twin beds and the bathroom. But the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was limited but edible, coffee is awful. The nearby area offered a great choice of restaurants, including a couple of excellent thoroughly Italian restaurants, and supermarkets etc. The bus stop is at the end of the road and it only took 10 minutes to get to central Rome.

Pros:
- 3 mins walk to bus station.
- with bus no.92 , it will take you to Termini in less than ten minutes.
- nice area. Walking takes 30 mins.
- there is a supermart nearby.
- staff is friendly and command reasonably good English.
- room is clean.
- complementary 2 bottles of water.
- newly renovated.
- wifi reception is good.
- warm shower.
- bed is pretty comfy.

Cons:
- no iron.
- of course no tissues, shampoo or toothpaste too.

Things have not explored and therefore not commented:
- any cafes or eateries nearby?
- price is not known as it is part of the tour package. So can't comment on value for money.

Stayed for one night while in Rome, I was explicitly looking for an hotel in Parioli. Buenos Aires provided a cost efficient solution, at a decent level of quality. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly, wi-fi and air conditioning working well. Breakfast could be better in variety. Location not perfect for visiting the center, but , tranquil and close enough f.i. with tram 19 to go to Vatican, or bus to go downtown. It really depends what you are looking for, but at the price I got, I was satisfied and I would definitely come again.

Stopped here as part of a Cosmos tour. This hotel is a good bus ride away from the attractions of Rome. There are two small supermarkets nearby (turn left out of hotel to end of road then turn right & supermarket on each side of road) & there are pizza houses & restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
You could have free wi-fi for a couple of hours but people found it very difficult to connect. Many of the rooms are small, having a hairdryer but no drink making facilities. Rooms are very clean & staff are friendly & helpful. The lifts up to the rooms are very small. The breakfast room is small, there is a juice & hot drinks machine, bread , honey, jam, ham, cereal, yogurts, scrambled egg, bacon, cakes & pastries.

Room Tip: If not happy with your room ask to move & if they have a room available they will change your ro...

We (2 couples) joined the Cosmos Jewels of Italy tour commencing on 28 April 2013. Buenos Aires was chosen by Cosmos to be the hotel where we stayed the first night. I consider Buenos Aires to be the worst hotel of that tour by far. Indeed all the other hotels in the itinerary were of good standard and to our satisfaction. I have given Buenos Aires a POOR rating for the following reasons:

1. On checking in at about 7pm on 28 April, our room had a tray with cups and coffee / tea satchels but no electric kettle. On asking the man (with a moustache) on duty at reception at the time if we could get hold of an electric kettle, his reply was that our room should have one but he was not prepared to provide it because we were Chinese (we are Asian Australians). We asked him why and he said he was instructed by the Chinese embassy in Rome that no kettle should be provided to Chinese guests. We found the conversation to be absurd and saw no point in taking it further.
2. 28 April was warm and humid in Rome. There was air-conditioner in the room but it could not be turned on. Our second question to the man at reception was if the air-conditioner worked. His answer was that the central control switch had not been turned on. He went on to proclaim that he would not turn on the control switch because of environmental concerns. We came to the conclusion that he was plainly hostile and quite enjoyed going out of his way to make our stay unpleasant. Needless to say, that night the room was warm and stuffy.
3. Hotel building - to get to our room, we needed to lift our luggage over a few steps (there is no ramp) to get to the elevator. One has to do the lifting oneself if the one and only porter is not around to help. That may be OK for the younger folks but not so user friendly for the elderly and/or the infirm.
4. Our room (601) had a musty smell.
5. Being in a tour group numbering over 40, we all went to breakfast at about the same time. Only one hotel staff was on hand to serve and the result was that the later comers missed out on quite a few food items. The lone staff member was simply too busy to replenish exhausted dishes before we had to leave to start the day's tour.
6. The hotel is away from any reasonable shopping / restaurant precincts. The closest pizzerias (we failed to find any restaurant within walking distance) are about 15 minutes' walk away. In theory there is regular public bus service to the major attractions. However our experience was that, during peak hours, it was quite a long wait before we could get on one.

We again stayed at Bueno Aires on 10 and 11 May 2013, the last 2 days of the Cosmos tour. I have to say that the reception staff on these last 2 days were much more friendly and cooperative. My rating would have been Terrible if not for them. What has been bothering me is: "Why does Cosmos use this hotel?" when, as a matter of fact, it is so much inferior in all aspects to the other hotels included in the tour and therefore totally out of character in the context of that tour.

Stayed here as part of our recent tour with Cosmos

Pro's
Bacon at breakfast
Seats in lobby comfortable.
Floor clean.

Cons'
Wifi is rubbish and didn't work in either of the two rooms I stayed in as part of the Cosmos tour. It was a frequent sigh seeing holiday goers sitting in the lobby just to get their wifi to work.
Wife's pillow was dirty and had stains on it upon check in.
Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast pastries and bacon and eggs.
No bar tender in the bar, was manned by the porter, and only when you asked for something to drink at all other times the lights were turned off as if the bar was closed.

Unfortunately wouldn't stay here again by choice. Only if touring.
