"Perfect Rome experience"

Let me get the negatives out of the way. Yes, this hotel isn't in the heart of the tourist areas. Yes, it's located so that you have to walk uphill both ways to get to it. Yes, there is no elevator. OK, now let me get to the good part. This place looks and feels like a luxury hotel. The rooms are beautiful, large, and excellently-appointed and tastefully-decorated. The bathroom was huge and beautiful and includes a jacuzzi bathtub. The bed was super-comfortable, the AC worked excellently, and there was a fridge in the room. Breakfast was included and served in the room by a French maid (yes, really). But none of those are the best part about this charming hotel. The best part is undoubtedly Signore Fernando, who seems to be the hotel owner, receptionist, and concierge rolled into one. This gentleman was so quintessentially Italian that it really made this place stand out. This man was like the Italian grandpa I never had: concerned enough that he would give you useful advice and information, but not invested enough in you to tell you what to do. And honestly, I don't know when he sleeps because he was always available and always willing to be of service. This is the best deal I have ever come across. Stay here and you will have an unforgettable Roman experience.

Nice boutique hotel at a good price. Room was a good size with very nice furniture, very comfortable bed and despite been on the side of a busy street the double glazing worked wonders and made it nice and quiet. Free WiFi Internet worked a treat and whilst breakfast is served in the room (at a time to suit you between 7.30 and 11 am) Choose from Tea Coffee in all variants, Croissant and two choices of cereal, great thing is you don't need to get dressed to go to breakfast, it's more than enough and chances are you'll be sitting down for lunch at 12 ish after walking around some of the numerous Roman bits. The bathroom had a hair dryer and the bedroom had enough sockets for charging phones laptop etc. The older gent on reception was helpful and the younger gent gave us a map with all the sights highlighted and he was full of useful information. TOP TIP Check Google Street View and locate the big green doors before you go as there is NO sign, then finding the hotel will be a piece of cake, it's next to Palazzo Barberini - Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica and diagonally opposite Hotel Quattro Fontane (To the right ). We had a great time and I have no problem recommending H 2000 It has no gym and no pool but believe me you won't have time to use them:)

We found this little jem after being ripped off and put out by the hotel Eden. We were treated by Fernando who took great care with us. Felt very safe and rooms wer clean and close to everything. Owner Marco is a delight. Would definitely recommend.

We spent over 20 mins trying to find this place while on the correct street. There is no signage and no one in the area could assist us where to go. When you get to the street look for the big green doors on what looks like an office/government building. There name is also written as one of the buzzers on the door, but again tiny.

Accomodation is nice and clean. Room was of a quite decent size and is clean and well equipt. Breakfast was delivered to your room and is a basic crossoint, tea is extra.

Great location near trevi and some great little resturants, felt like a very safe area even at night. No street noise at night, although you will get woken up quite early with scooters parking right outside the window if you have a street view.

Stayed here one night on business. I suppose its ok if one just needs a bed to sleep. Didn't find it particularly "quaint", in fact the entrance looks dismal and you think you enter some government building. Single rooms are tiny, in fact minute, and nothing more than luxury store cupboards. Bed was comfortable, a/c didn't work, hit water didn't work. Bathroom equally tiny but clean and quite ok, no bath products apart from a tiny bar of soap. Minimal contains a bottle of water. View from room into a dismal backstreet. TV has hundreds of channels n virtually all Italian and the few English are scrambled. I don't want to sound too negative - the old receptionist was lovely (only person I saw in the hotel), but for that price I would have expected a little more - even in expensive Rome. Hotel 10 minutes from Fontana Di Trevi, Palo Barberini is next door, 15 minutes to Guard Vented, Villa Borghese and gardens, and 15 min from Stationed Termini Railway Station. All right in the heart of Rome. City tours start at Piazza Barberini 2 min from the hotel. Loads of restaurants, cafes, bars. Based on the single room experience I would recommend this for the budget business guy or individual tourist which just needs a bed to sleep - unless the double rooms are anything close to the official photos, go somewhere else for a romantic holiday.
