“Very good choice”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

We stayed three nights at the beginning of our trip and two nights upon our return to Rome. The location was excellent for getting around Rome, good breakfast, nice room. Bathroom in our first room was very small - a large person would not be able to shower - and there was a dangerous step down/up. Second room was much better. Very friendly staff and helpful; however, the desk was not always manned at night and on weekends although there was an emergency number. Fortunately we never needed any help at those times.

Room Tip: Ask for room with larger bathroom.

I came home yesterday after a lovely 2 night stay at Bellesuite Rome.
The hotel was a 5min walk from Termini station (which is 30mins from FCO airport) and a 10min walk from the Colosseum.
The staff (2 lovely ladies by day and a very nice chap in the evening) were super and gave us maps, directions, recommendations and were so polite and professional with excellent spoken English!
The hotel was spotless, it looked brand new and the bed was huge with a firm mattress so I had a great nights sleep even with my dodgy back!
Oh and the breakfast.....I've stayed all over Europe but this was amazing! My partner said he couldn't wait for the next morning to have it all over again!
A really, REALLY lovely, charming hotel with fabulous staff. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to all my airline colleagues that travel lots like me! Thank You Bellesuite Rome for a great birthday break! Sarah and Ricky :)

We stayed 1 night post cruise at Bellesuite Rome. It was exactly what we were looking for at this particular time i.e. close to Termini for easy access from the cruise terminal via train.

Just one thing to watch out for if coming from the Cruise port - we had checked out the walking directions to the hotel from the station on Google Earth, but the train dropped us at a different place within the station (quite a bit further down), this threw us (and others walking to other close by hotels) out of sync - but we did manage to find it okay, albeit a bit longer walk uphill, but there was pavement. It wasn't a problem for us but if you struggle with mobility it might be.

Barbara and Sabrina (lovely ladies) checked us in efficiently and went through the map to show us best way to Coliseum and recommended a restaurant to eat at later.

The room was large with a very comfortable bed - always important! The ladies had kindly given us a bottle of sparkle which was much appreciated - thank you.

Bathroom was functional with toiletries supplied.

Breakfast was served in the room at the time we booked the day before, Continental style and it was quite delicious with the best Cappuccinos and Croissants we have had.

We had planned to take the train to airport but decided to book the transfer booked by Sabrina - the driver turned up on time, and was very professional. Took about 45 minutes.

One other thing to mention that may be of importance to some is the hotel is on third floor and is served by a tiny lift complete with the swing door and iron railings - we found it very cute and quaint and loved using it - it fits 2 people and luggage.

Bellesuite is good value for money and in a decent location.... walking distance to the sites and although its walking distance to Termini (which isn't a very nice looking area) it is far enough away from the station that it feels a much nicer - and set in a fairly quite street. I would definitely recommend it especially for a short stay like we were on.

Thank you everyone we met at Bellesuite - you are doing a great job.

I stayed here for four days and was very happy with the location of the hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is one floor of a building that houses many other hotels. It was about a seven minute walk from Termini, ten to the Colosseum and about ten to the Trevi. Everything was walking distance minus the Vatican which I suggest you take the train or bus to.

The room was clean, and well staged. The bathroom was small as was the shower, but for the on-the-budget stay I had it was really worth the bargain! Will definitely stay there again!

I'm a taller guy (6'5") and was able to use the shower just fine. The bed wasn't extremely comfortable, but still did the job. We were never able to use WiFi, but were allowed to use the reception desk PC for internet use. The breakfast was great and the outdoor seating area made for a great start to the day. Would definitely stay again.

Since the Tripadvisor community has been raving about this place, I thought nothing could go wrong. I mean after all, I have had nothing but good experiences from this website.

Unfortunately, this place does not live up to the 4 1/2 "dots" on here. Quite the contrary.

The place is very old. Walls are cracked and the overall feeling is "this place needs a renovation". Furthermore, these rooms must have the smallest bathroom ever. You can hardly turn in there and the shower is really only made for "small italians".

Additionally, the bed was drooped in the middle which caused some major backache.

Breakfast is served in the room and comes all with pre-processed food. While this is not a bad thing the quality of the food itself leaves much to desire. Pastry tasted bad and the fruit juice is just... horrible. Mind you, this was for 4 days the case.

Moreover, when we arrived the manager told us that in our room the Wi-Fi is weak but "someone" will be fixing it today. Well, after three days it was still not fixed...

I really can't understand how this place gets such a high score here.

The place is more like a B&B than a hotel and is located on the third floor of a nice building. The reception is not open 24hrs a day but for me it is ok. Breakfast is served in the room as there is no dining room, which is okay unless you have to leave veray early but in any case hotels do not typically serve breakfast before 7/7.30. The bathroom in my room was on the small side, but okay overall. The room was also nice and rather large and overall clean. I think that for 120 euros a day it would be not so easy to get more. Location is perfect, near the railway station but not in the mess you find in some areas near the station. As said, it would need some maintainace of the rooms and some additional details which would not cost a fortune (somewhere to put bath foams in the shower box....different choice of fruit juices for breakfast....)
