“Nice and Quiet”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights while on our honeymoon and it was very nice indeed. As other reviewers have said some of the rooms are on the small side but they're not that bad. I think we had one of the smaller rooms and our bathroom was very poky but I'm 6'2" and I managed fine. More importantly it was gleamingly clean, which I consider a way more important factor. The shower was quite powerful too.

The room itself was comfortable and the aircon worked, also the beds were actually pretty comfortable too, even after being used to a memory foam at home! We didn't really need much more than that as we spent at least 9 hours a day sight seeing. The location is great, right near the metro but off side street so it was very quiet, we slept well. Most big attractions are in walking distance so we didn't really need to use public transport unless we were travelling further afield like the Vatican or the catacombs outside the city.

The staff had an adequate amount of English and one of the girls was very fluent, she clearly enjoyed practicing on tourists! More importantly they were friendly and very helpful, the reception was not 24hrs but the duty member of staff was on call and stayed on site. The breakfast was fine and taken in the rooms, don't expect a feast but it was convenient knowing we could have it if we wanted it.

All in all a lovely stay in a cosy small hotel, perfect as a base for sightseeing.

We really enjoyed staying here, it was central about 20 minutes walk from most things but still quiet, clean, tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay lovely. It was not an incredibly spacious room and a small bathroom but we were not there for much else apart from sleeping and showering so it suited us for that.

My family and I (husband, daughter and son) spent five nights here in April. We couldn't have been happier with the hotel. It was in a great location, close to main streets and to the train station, but out of the din of the city. We could walk everywhere. We enjoyed the staff so much; they were so happy to help and to suggest places to eat. The room was spotless and quite large. The bathroom was great, except, as in so many places in Italy, the shower was miniscule. A large person would have a hard time showering. Besides that, we had no complaints. We were able to order our breakfast the night before (with a decent selection of choices) to be delivered to our room when we wanted it. The kids enjoyed the old-fashioned elevator in the building and it was a help when we'd spent the day walking...I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to be able to visit there again.

We stayed three nights at the beginning of our trip and two nights upon our return to Rome. The location was excellent for getting around Rome, good breakfast, nice room. Bathroom in our first room was very small - a large person would not be able to shower - and there was a dangerous step down/up. Second room was much better. Very friendly staff and helpful; however, the desk was not always manned at night and on weekends although there was an emergency number. Fortunately we never needed any help at those times.

Room Tip: Ask for room with larger bathroom.

I came home yesterday after a lovely 2 night stay at Bellesuite Rome.
The hotel was a 5min walk from Termini station (which is 30mins from FCO airport) and a 10min walk from the Colosseum.
The staff (2 lovely ladies by day and a very nice chap in the evening) were super and gave us maps, directions, recommendations and were so polite and professional with excellent spoken English!
The hotel was spotless, it looked brand new and the bed was huge with a firm mattress so I had a great nights sleep even with my dodgy back!
Oh and the breakfast.....I've stayed all over Europe but this was amazing! My partner said he couldn't wait for the next morning to have it all over again!
A really, REALLY lovely, charming hotel with fabulous staff. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to all my airline colleagues that travel lots like me! Thank You Bellesuite Rome for a great birthday break! Sarah and Ricky :)

We stayed 1 night post cruise at Bellesuite Rome. It was exactly what we were looking for at this particular time i.e. close to Termini for easy access from the cruise terminal via train.

Just one thing to watch out for if coming from the Cruise port - we had checked out the walking directions to the hotel from the station on Google Earth, but the train dropped us at a different place within the station (quite a bit further down), this threw us (and others walking to other close by hotels) out of sync - but we did manage to find it okay, albeit a bit longer walk uphill, but there was pavement. It wasn't a problem for us but if you struggle with mobility it might be.

Barbara and Sabrina (lovely ladies) checked us in efficiently and went through the map to show us best way to Coliseum and recommended a restaurant to eat at later.

The room was large with a very comfortable bed - always important! The ladies had kindly given us a bottle of sparkle which was much appreciated - thank you.

Bathroom was functional with toiletries supplied.

Breakfast was served in the room at the time we booked the day before, Continental style and it was quite delicious with the best Cappuccinos and Croissants we have had.

We had planned to take the train to airport but decided to book the transfer booked by Sabrina - the driver turned up on time, and was very professional. Took about 45 minutes.

One other thing to mention that may be of importance to some is the hotel is on third floor and is served by a tiny lift complete with the swing door and iron railings - we found it very cute and quaint and loved using it - it fits 2 people and luggage.

Bellesuite is good value for money and in a decent location.... walking distance to the sites and although its walking distance to Termini (which isn't a very nice looking area) it is far enough away from the station that it feels a much nicer - and set in a fairly quite street. I would definitely recommend it especially for a short stay like we were on.

Thank you everyone we met at Bellesuite - you are doing a great job.

I stayed here for four days and was very happy with the location of the hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is one floor of a building that houses many other hotels. It was about a seven minute walk from Termini, ten to the Colosseum and about ten to the Trevi. Everything was walking distance minus the Vatican which I suggest you take the train or bus to.

The room was clean, and well staged. The bathroom was small as was the shower, but for the on-the-budget stay I had it was really worth the bargain! Will definitely stay there again!
