This hotel is well situated close to the main railway station Termini with all kind of services and easy transports to all parts of Rome (metro, bus, tram, taxi...), which is important to know, since the main attractions of the city are quite far from each other. It's an old patrician building with very spacious rooms and bathrooms with high ceilings. Although the furniture is simple, you will get a feeling of luxury thanks to the atmosphere, the excellent quality of air in the rooms and the small extras offered (extra pillows and plaids in the wardrobe), a lot of towels at the disposal of the guests, the silent location etc.

The hotel is very clean with hygienic parquets on the floor and lots of soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly in the room. The staff is welcoming and friendly - a special thank you to Fabio in the reception and the smiling lady in the breakfast area!

Since it's an old patrician apartment building, some minor issues may occur. For example in the room we had, the water didn't evacuate properly and it was difficult to get a warm shower (the water being too cold or too warm). But the only deception was really the breakfast, which is close to nothing. We were in Rome just before the busy Easter holidays and paid a quite high price for the room, but it was worth the price with the exception of the very poor breakfast.

In conclusion, I would still say that this hotel was a different and pleasant surprise in a city like Rome, where it's actually quite difficult to find a good hotel to a reasonable price.

We have just enjoyed three nights at this hotel with its friendly, welcoming staff. Clearly Termini is not the most charming area of Rome but we chose it for the obvious advantage of being close to the station for our onward journey to Naples. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to most tourist attractions but we were happy to walk rather than travel on the metro - you miss the beautiful architecture when travelling in a tunnel! Our room on the second floor was immaculate, modern bathroom with plenty of towels and the shower had good pressure with no shortage of hot water. Security was excellent, safe worked well and the double glazing kept out the noise on the street - and it can be noisy. Someone in the vicinity had their television blaring until 6 or 7am on two of the nights but earplugs did the trick. Did not bother to complain as this was not the hotel's fault and I had noted that other people had mentioned it so had the earplugs at the ready. Italian hotel breakfasts are not what we choose to eat at home but at least here it was fresh from a bakery and not in little prepackaged bags as at many hotels in Italy. Coffee was very good. All in all a great stay but if in Rome again we would probably stay where we have stayed in the past, near the Colosseum. If only we could pick this hotel up and move it there.

We just got back from a 6-night stay at this hotel. We arrived after midnight but there was no problem checking in that late (they advertise 24-hr check-in) and they had upgraded our room to a larger one without additional cost. The room was spacious, bathroom was small but functional, staff were very helpful. The breakfast is a little spartan but there's a market along the street 6 days out of 7 and you can pick up fruit to supplement the yoghurt / rolls / cereal. (This also means that the rooms facing the street catch some of that market street noise in the morning.) The location (very close to Termini Station) was ideal as we used metro / trains / buses to get around. We have already recommended this hotel to two friends who are going to Rome in the next six months.

We spent six nights there and loved it. Very clean room, but basic -- but who wants to spend a bunch of time in a hotel room in Rome?? Breakfast was also basic, but completely satisfactory. And we didn't realize how convenient it is to be only a few blocks from Termini, where you can catch trains, the metro, buses, and the trolleys, all of which we used. The other comments here about this place seem pretty right on, too. I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else if we go back to Rome.

Room Tip: Others mentioned the market that is outside the front door from Mon to Sat, and recommended getting...

Me and my parents stayed in the hotel for 3 nights few days ago. It was difficult to choose a place to stay in rome, since its so many of them there. I knew we are going to arrive to Rome pretty late in the night, so I tried to find some good hotel close to Termini stations, so we dont have to walk a lot. This hotel has a perfect location, just about 4 minutes walking from the bus stop. There is a metro station, so you can get wherever you want very quickly, but its also possible to walk to every attraction, for example colosseum is like 20 minutes by foot. The room we got was very nice, quite big, quiet and lot of space for everything. I was especially surprised by how nice the bathroom looked, it is always very important for me to have a nice bathroom. The room also had a TV and fridge, and there was a good internet connection. Wifi is in the price. We were 3 people staying int he room, my parents had a normal double bed, my bed was just put there, so I was little bit afraid of the quality, but again I was surprised how good it was to sleep on it. Room was cleaned every day and I felt like they really did clean the place ( not like in some hotels, where they just sweep the floor and make the beds )The breakfast is also included in the price, it was very basic but very nice. Nice coffee- espresso or cappuccino, water, cereals, tea and fresh pastries. What I cant forget to write about is the staff on the reception, they were very nice. I wrote them in january that we are coming late at night, and they remembered it, and when we were trying to find the place, one of them were standing in front of the hotel waiting for us. Very nice of them! And the last night before we were leaving, i asked about the breakfast, since we were leaving early in the morning, so he gave us a coupon for free coffees in the breakfast place that was close to the hotel. During the stay, we really didnt have a single problem. I am happy with the choice i made and I would deff. recommend this hotel to everybody.

Room Tip: After reading some reviews i choose a hotel facing a courtyard, cause there is a market from 6 am on...

The hotel was excellent, the staff was friendly and our room was quite big and very nicely furnished. The room was very clean and our sheets were replaced every day. Although the brekfast isn't much, it is enaugh to keep you till lunch and coffee for breakfast is among best I had in Rome. The hotel is in an old building but don't let that fool you because the hotel is very modern and although during the week there is a market in the street of the hotel I did not hear them at all. The location of the hotel is great it is 2 min from Termini station and close to a bus if you are taking a bus from the airport. There are numerous very good and not expensive restaurants near this hotel, and there is a very good supermarket near it so you can basically have everything you want. It is also in walking distance to all major sights, we were ther for 5 days and we used bus only to get to airport, we walked all the time. Only bad thing is that there are a lot of hobos and homeless people around Termini and it isn't very comfortable to walk alone. The only thing I didn't like during our stay is that we asked for a late check out ( instead of 11 o'clock we asked to leave around 14:00 because my husband was a bit sick) and they charged us 30 euros for that which I think is a bit much since we payed 54 euros per night, and in other hotels we stayed before we payed around 20 euros for a late check out. All in all great hotel for this price, clean most importantly and if I ever go back to Rome I will stay there definitley.

Room Tip: Our room 103 was simply perfect

The location is good, 5 minutes walk from Termini station; 2 metro stops from Colosseum.
The room was large and clean; the furniture was a little outdated but this didn't bother us.

We had anything we needed: space, confortable bed, a table, big TV, a safe, minibar, ensuit bathroom.

Recomended for not very pretentious travelers, who need a confortable staying in a good location.
