“Very nice room”
Reviewed 1 May 2012

Our room was excellent! Clean bathroom and colorfully decorated. We had a jacuzzi in our room, although we did not use it. We also had a double bed along with bunk beds in the corner. The outside terrace was very inviting and confortable for just reading or playing cards. The internet in the room was very weak, but we could go into the main house and use our tablets for surfing. The breakfast was delicious and served promptly at the time we had requested. It is a little ways out of town, but the bus stop is right at the end of the street.

It's always fun to try something new. My daughter and I choose to stay away from Holiday Inn Express style hotels and to find a more unique place to stay. This Bed and Breakfast Castle is definitely more Unique. The driver arrived at the train station and were wisked away through crazy traffic to the suburbs of Rome. We arrived at the Castle before dark and were greeted by the friendly hostess , Miss Xenia. Their lobby is filled with statues and art and a Christmas tree brightly lit up the area. Miss Xenia was happy to see us and took us up to our spacious accomodation. After visiting with Xenia we walked next door for dinner to a cute little market where they sold fresh hot food and groceries. In the morning we were served a filling Euro breakfast and Xenia was available to help us plan our days journey. We caught a bus in front of a pizzaria around the corner. It took us to the metro to tour all around Rome. Coming back to the Castle each evening was a nice way to end each day away from the roaring crowd of downtown Rome. This unique place to stay made our vacation in Rome truly memorable.

Room Tip: Our large suite could easily meet the needs of a big family. Ask for the suite upstairs on the right...

As the title says , we , I mean the whole of us of my family ,felt like living the atmosphere of a childhood fairy tale , because there are plenty of images which took inspiration from fairy tales. And it is, really, a wonder to see the way in which the architecture , the furniture, the statues , the pictures on the walls , the lights ,the carpets , all the objects placed artistically compose a splendid structure,

Spent 3 nights at Scandleuzza Castle while visiting Rome. We are a family of 4 and staying in the appartment, it was hugewith 3 beds and large sitting area, beautiful bathroom on lower level, we were served breakfast on the terrace every morning and the room was cleaned with new towels every day. If you go on holiday for new experiences and adventure you will love this hotel. If you travell without car you can get to the center very fast by public tranport.

I was with her husband and two children.Beautiful time spent in this hotel -rooms are very large and so that the children had a lot of room to play. And large area hotels gives the possibility to children play safe. Hotel is not far from the center and has a great transportation with the city center. Our family strongly recommended this hotel and the hosts will be glad to greet you.
