I had a nice stay at this hotel, the staff was truly amazing!! Except for the location (which isn't exactly near the center, but thanks to the good connection with busses and the train, that was not a big issue), everything about hotel Cassia was great! :)

Quiet location, nice and clean rooms and very friendly and helpul staff, the train from the nearest train station La Storta takes you right into the city center (St. Pietro) in 25-30 minutes. Very nice for family break.

My friend and I stayed in the Hotel Cassia for four nights, including New Years Eve.
We were absolutely pleased with our stay in the hotel. Both bed and bathroom were very clean, there's daily room service. The breakfast was good as well, lots of different foods (mostly sweets) and coffee.
I definitely want to emphasize how content we were with the people working at the front desk and the breakfast service. The staff is incredibely nice, always willing to help and very proficient.

However, there is one thing I would definitely recommend to keep in mind: The hotel is located pretty far away from the city centre, but there is a train not too far away from the hotel, which takes you to a Metro station within about 30 minutes. During the day, it operates pretty frequently.
Close to the hotel, there are a few bars and restaurants. We went to the "Fratoria de Clothilde" one night for dinner and got a very got meal for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend that restaurant, if you are looking for a nice place to eat not too far away from the hotel. Another good place to eat if you are only looking for a quick snack is the "Sale e Pepe".

All in all,I would definitely recommend Hotel Cassia to everyone, who is on a budget, but still wants a nice place to stay.

The Hotel is located at La Storta in north of Roma, so it is good to reach by car via motorway and tangentiale with less traffic than the city. There we left our car and go by train to Roma. The distance Hotel to station is approx. 10 min. During the whole day each 20 - 30 min a train runs.
When we were here it was really hot approx. 40-41°C in Roma each of the 5 days. But in La Storta it was a little bit colder and better air on the hills, amazing.
The Hotel itself was clean and air conditioned allways. The rooms are in the second line to the streets so it was good and silent to sleep. Our room was big enough to place 3 fully beds with 2 meters length, it is not usually as we learned on other sides. The personel was really pleasant and ready to help or to answer. For example we got the advice to use a daily ticket for train and the whole Rome network.
The breakfast includes a bigger offering especially on bakery than comparible hotels of this class in Italy. The waiter/waitress prepared a delicious capuccino daily.
The whole staff speak english so it was easy to communicate in each reason.
We are still remembering on these beatiful days in this friendly and lovely Hotel in La Storta.

Since I call for the first time I was really amazing, Mafalda the Guest speak spanish and resolve every problem.

Some of my partners seis it is so far form Roma...but with La Storta Train station and the really very well bus services of Rome you are connected all the time. From San Pietro you take 15 minutes or less in train and only has to walk two blocks, In Valle Aurelia transbord to Metro (A) and in 10 minutoes more you are in Plaza d'Espagna...

Clean and confortable habitations WITH BATHROOM. Breaksfast is a tipic italian breakfast and the neibourghood is very calm. Internet work very well.

Room Tip: Select rooms with see to Via Cassia...

We spent 2 nights at the Cassia for a visit to Rome in our 12 days visit to Italy.
We had great difficulties finding the entry, it's a very little driveway between to building.
The staff is great and very helpful. The lady (sorry I forgot to ask her name) that was there at our arrival, spoke perfectly well in english and give us all the information how to visit Rome by train and give us a city map.
We choose this hotel because it was at walking distance from the train station and all the good reviews.
The hotel and rooms are clean, but we disliked the constant humidity odour.
We also didn't like the fact that they control the air conditioner, the first night it was shut down in the middle of the night and it became hot in the room, we ask them to let it open all the time the next night, and it was OK.
The breakfast is OK, like all standard European hotels.
So for a couple of nights it does the job, and the price is good.

Hello everyone,

The hotel is very nice.

It is clean every day and the breakfast is great with a large choose of food (bread, bakery, sugar pies, cake).

The staff is very nice and professional. They pay attention to their clients. They are friendly and helpful.

Concerning the bedroom, it is large and clean.

The hotel is close to Rome, but not in Rome. Like this, the room is calm. Rome's downtown is about 40 minutes in train (10-15 minutes by feet to train station, and 20-30 minutes of train).

We enjoyed a lot in this hotel!!

Regards
