Good points- comfy bed, good price, friendly staff, near to metro, bottles of water restocked in the fridge daily, clean sheets, quiet.

Drawbacks - reception is only open 08-20 hrs, so since you're out all day you cant call on assistance in the eve.

Reviewed 29 September 2013

I read through reviews about this hotel prior to booking and was so shocked when we arrived that it received so many above average reviews. The bed was extremely uncomfortable - old and dipped in in the middle. It was the noisiest place we could possible. The road was busy through the night and there were dumopsters below our window. The area was extremely dodgy so we didn't feel safe walking around there after dark. There was no wifi in the room and there was also no water in the fridge as was reviewed by another guest. The lady who welcome us when we arrived was lovely but the man who was there the next two days was quite unfriendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even for the price. We paid the same at a place in Florence that was also 2 star but way, way better.

Stayed here for 4 days. The hotel is situated quite close to Termini train station and subway, the rooms are nice and clean and services are very good too - very nice receptionist, clean new towels and beds made every day. A supermarket is very close and also the famous "Palazo del Fredo", where you can have one of the Italy's best ice-cream. One inconvenient might be that, if you have a light sleep, its possible to be woken up by every noise because the walls are very thin and the Italians have a bad habit of speaking loudly.

Previous reviews say it all. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of a private apartment block (there is a lift) Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, decent size room. Walking distance to Termini station, metro station and the Colosseum. Near supermarket, bars, take-away pizza and wonderful ice-cream parlour. Room had a small fridge (with bottled water replaced every day). There was an air con unit, double glazing and a comfy bed for a good night's sleep. The bonuses were free coffee and WiFi in the small reception area, a market stall on the corner of a street nearby with wonderful fresh fruit and a bottle opener on the wall in the bathroom!

Reviewed 20 April 2013

Stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst exploring Rome. It's located approximately 10-15 minutes walk from the main train station in Rome, on the third floor of an apartment block. It is also a very short walk to the metro station, and around 20 minutes to the Colosseum.

The rooms were spacious for the price with large bathroom and AC. Reception were helpful and allowed baggage storage before check in and after check out. Overall, it was everything we needed for a budget, sightseeing break in Rome
