My wife and I stayed in Guilio's apartment for two weeks and couldn't have enjoyed our time there more. The apartment itself is fully furnished and engagingly decorated. Collections of interesting and varied objects in the apartment engaged our interest. The apartment is quiet, has good AC for hot spells, a large relaxing shower, and a reliable elevator. Groceries are available next door, and all sorts of eat-in and take-away meals are nearby. The location, ah the location - just a short walk from Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, and all the attractions and conveniences of Trastevere. Monday thru Saturday there is a fresh produce market in the piazza just outside the door. Need a local SIM card? a TIM store is across the street. Need help with your 35mm? a photo shop is around the corner. The #8 tram is two blocks away for quick and easy transport to the heart of old Rome. Three blocks away is the #3B bus connecting to the Metro at Pyramide. The #115 bus around the corner runs along the Janiculum to the Vatican. If you prefer to walk, within 30 minutes you can reach almost anywhere you might want to go. Moreover, Guilio is a wonderful host. If (when) we return to Rome we will definitely stay there again!
