Hotel Lussemburgo is a small hotel with wonderful owners. Lucia and Carlo are incredible friendly and warm-hearted!!
I stayed in a single room, which was simple but very clean. Unfortunately I stayed just for one night there, but would without doubt stay there again, for some more nights.
Grazie mille, Lucia & Carlo!! :)

A nice small hotel run be a very friendly elderly couple. Good location in terms of bus/tram/underground connections, 10-15 min walk to Termini or Colosseum. Very good pizza and supermarket a 5 min walk :)

You get exactly what you pay for and more. A comfortable and clean place to sleep and an authentic family who own the hotel. The two are very sweet and are happy help out as much as they can. It's located about 5 minutes away from a metro station and 15 away from the Colosseum. I would recommend it to anyone who are looking for a cheap place to sleep in Rome

At 43 Euro a night, this place is great value for its location - a 15 min walk from Termini station or 2 stops on the metro, Manzoni stop. There are also several buses and trams. Our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The hosts are very welcoming. It is true they do not speak English, but this makes for a more authentic stay! Breakfast is included in the room price and comprises cheese, cold meat, omelette, salad, bread, fruit and sweet pastries plus tea or coffee. Really great value for a capital city in Europe and a great opportunity to be fussed over by an Italian Mumma! Credit cards are accepted, but the 2 Euro a night tax per person needs to be paid in cash. Enjoy!

The couple who run the hotel are really lovely and do their best to make you feel comfortable. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything that was needed. Breakfast was good and the coffee was amazing! The location is not the best however it is close to the train line and bus systems. I would of liked to have stayed more in the middle of the city however would stay again.

We (2 pax) stayed here at the end of September 2013 for just a night during a stopover.

Location - close to Termini station, about 1-3 stops away. This is good if you're travelling to the airport, getting around Rome in general or doing day trips. It might be a bit of a hassle if you have heavy luggage, walking from the train station to the hotel, but it's bearable.

Room - basic, clean. Furnishing might be a bit old, but for the price (compared to others in Rome) it's acceptable. The toilet was a bit cramp but that's about it.

The receptionists don't speak English but it wasn't too much of a problem, as we were only there for a day and night and knew our way around Rome so it didn't bother us.

There's a nice little restaurant to have your meals at, really good food and value. When you exit the hotel, take a left and head to the main street. Once you're at the main street take a right and it's just 3 mins to the restaurant which has a pink neon sign and a homey outdoor area. The price and value of the meals were great.

Overall no real issues with this place!

We stayed at this hotel in October 2013. Excellent value for Rome. Owners did not speak English, however they were very welcoming. Small Hotel set in quiet side road about 15 minute walk from the bus/rail station. If you are looking for a clean & cheap hotel then this is the place for you. Family run and although they dont speak English the older couple couldn't be more helpful. When leaving at 6am the owners made sure that me and my partner had breakfast. They went above and beyond.
