Very handy for Termini, but definitely in need of redecorating and modernizing . We were in a fairly spacious corner room; bathroom OK but no fan or air circulation so there was lots of mildew in the shower area.
Breakfast ok. Free Wifi only in part of the lobby, and not in the room.

This is a nice hotel with excellent position. Very helpful and serviceminded personal speeking english.
Italian breakfast . Little small rooms but clean and fresh. There is a variety of rooms. Rooms on 3rd floor all have bathtube.Choose a room to the courtyard - quite area. AC switched of during the day. Then you could have the windows opened during the night. Supermarket nearby and a lot of bars and restaurants nearby.

Hotel Archimede is located just 1 block away from the Central Station Termini. We stayed on the 5th floor and the room was very spacious, Also housekeeping is working well. Only negative thing was the missing shower curtains and old furnitures. When you take a shower the whole bathroom is getting wet which is totally nonsense. If they renew the furniture that hotel can be much much better.

Room Tip: Close to Termini Station. Rooms on the top floor are quiet.

This hotel is conveniently located near the main train station (Termini) and it’s only a 15min walk from the Colosseum and the Forum Romanum. Near the hotel there are many places where you can eat not spending a lot of money, there is a supermarket open till late, many shops (at the Termini station). Our room was quite clean and nice, the bathroom could be cleaner, the breakfast was terrible, and the hotel definitely doesn’t deserve 4 stars, maybe 2 or 3. Overall, not so bad. I would come back because of the great location.

This hotel is conveniently located to the train station and around 15 to 20 minutes walk to the parthenon.
It is good value for money but it is a small hotel with very small serviceable rooms that are good for a night sleep.
The aircon is switched off during the day so a plus is that the room opened onto a quite area at the back of the hotel. But don't look down as it reminds you of a dump area for unwanted items.
Staff are courteous rather than friendly. No issues that I could not live with.

The foyer gives a grand impression, which the rooms do not match up to, our room had most fixtures coming off even for plug sockets etc. and no way to work the heating or air con. The rooms walls were very thin, we could make out word for word conversation of the people next to us especially when they were arriving back at 3am. The room itself was very clean and the bed was comfy, so it is fine if you will be spending next to no time at all in the hotel. The wifi is incredibly poor and can only be accessed in the lobby and even then it is not the best. Not reliable especially if you are wanting to get in touch with home. The main benefit of this hotel is the location. It is right around the corner from Termini, the only station where both metro lines go from. We didn't use breakfast facilities at the hotel as there are plenty of small cafes in the vicinity to stop of in before you head out.

We stayed here for three days. All apart from location was pretty bad. Coffee for breakfast was pretty bad, there were youghurts but not nearly enough for everybody. Other food wasn't very good too.
There was no wifi in the rooms and in the lobby it was more time not working than working.
Fan in the bathroom was blowing dirty air in instead of sucking it out, so sometimes the bathroom stank. Air conditioning was only good for heating. Lots of things in the room way flimsy and almost falling apart (electricity power cabinet, flusher, hair dryer).
Rooms were very small and the window even smaller.
In the lobby and restaurant air temperature was set to 25 degrees and it was too hot everywhere.
