I stayed here for 2 nights with one of the groups of students that everyone mentions. There was far more noise from the street window than the students - but that's the city for you! The hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful and good. I'd stay there again. And my recommendation to anyone traveling in Italy, or staying in any large city - bring Ambien!

This hotel is frequented by large school groups who make endless noise and flood the reception to the point where you'll be stuck in the lift until they vacate. This happened on three occasions during my short stay here. Perfect location but very bad at night - we witnessed many drunks fighting and heard passionate footballers chanting and shouting until sunrise. Sleep here if you are hard of hearing, everyone should avoid if they want to sleep at night.

The hotel has very good location next to the Termini station and so you can travel by underground or by bus to reach all the Rome highlights in no time. It is a clean hotel, rooms are rather small but kept in repair. The breakfast room is clean and tidy with nice and prompt service. The breakfast is tasty and fresh and the personnel keeps an eye on the tables in order to supply what is needed.
That is the end of the good story.
I stayed in the hotel for four nights and all my nights very sleepless due to the noisy parties of school groups that ended in early morning hours. You can complain as much as you want. One group leaves and another one arrives and everything repeats again.
Maybe better to pay for a more expensive hotel and be fresh in the morning.

Nice and clean hotel. Nothing fancy but very nice and comfortable. Not far from the center, its next to Termini station but our room was quiet.

Room Tip: Ask for room 505, or other that has is on the same side of the hotel.

My husband and I have just returned from Rome. We stayed in this hotel because our travel agency had put us in. It is right across the train station Termini and is extremely noisy unless you get a side room. There were several groups of children from Spain and Italy who were parting all night, slamming the door and shouting. There was a weird smell in the room. Maybe it is because the hotel is very old. But the best is the location. Everything is within reach in no time. Metro is across the street, Via Nazionale is five minutes away, you can walk and enjoy Rome. Breakfast was average, but you do not come to Rome to eat in a hotel. So we didn't mind. There are much better hotels in Rome, but this one is not the worst, though the room per night for two persons costs 115E. I have the impression that there are cheaper hotels on the same locaton.

Room Tip: Higher floors are less noisy and are not so dark. Pick the side room.
