“almost perfect!”

Fantastic food and wine and super value for money. Ate at this restaurant at the weekend super find thanks to trip advisor and its reviewers, excellent wine list and menu front of house staff knew everything about the food and produce which is always a good sign, the free glass of prosecco was a great touch. We choose the meat and fish taster menu everything tasted super good having eaten in a few michelin star restaurants flavor wise it was defiantly up there, the only thing that i didn't understand was the what i thought was BBQ sauce on the beef fillet dish it was bit amateurish, flavor wise it wasn't bad but seemed like a short cut/lack of better ideas of sauces i just think you guys should just double check and look at slight improvements because it is so close to being 100% perfect however big well done and good look in the future and thank you.

“Hidden Gem!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014 via mobile

Fantastic food and service. The place is not very fancy outside, but food is great. The gnocchetti with truffles are awesome.
Wine list is short but good quality and not pricy at all.
I would really recommend it.

“Simply superb - go if you can!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014

It is bit out of the way, but the trip is well worth it,. Great, although relatively simple atmosphere, friendly service and just amazing food. We had both of their tasting menus (meat and fish) and they were both superb and if you consider the price (for which in Paris you get an appetizer in some restaurants), this place is just off the charts. Go if you can, you will not be disappointed.

“Taste the difference”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

After a short while in Rome menus can have a tendancy to all look the same. Discovering Moonshine was a breath of fresh air. Yes, the food is definitely Italian but there is a modern, fresh twist to it. We ended up going twice which can be a mistake but were delighted on both occasions.
The fish or meat tasting menus of 4 courses is very good value at €38 although one combination did have shaved black truffles in 2 courses one after the other which unlike everything else here lacked a little imagination.
The restaurant which has only been open since June is small with an intimate feel. The waiter was helpful and very friendly.
Brilliant evening. I hope they go from strength to strength

“Wonderful Meal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014

A gem of a restaurant with a refinement to the cooking that you don't find with many restaurants in Rome. I ate at a Michelin starred restaurant a few weeks ago and this restaurant was on a par with, if not better than, that meal. A very generous polyglot of a host (didn't seem to be a European language that he didn't speak) with a very reasonable price list considering the elegance. Without doubt a restaurant to go out of your way for.
