So this is an apartment that has been converted into a modest Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are neat and fairly contemporary. Check out my photos for a good idea of what the rooms look like.
Getting to the hotel: it is close to Termini in the Chinese district of Rome. No external signage exists to show that you are at the correct location. My suggestion is to print out a map and follow that. It is not hard to get to but you may easily miss it. MAKE sure you have the phone number in case no one answers the buzzer. Take the lift or walk to the first floor.
Price: certainly the best value in Rome. The price will likely rise in the future so take advantage while it is low.
Facilities: breakfast is basic. The entrance/foyer/kitchen/common area is typical for Europe. There appears to be three guest rooms so overcrowding is not a problem. Breakfast is basic but you do have access to a fridge. The bathroom is immaculate but note that it is a shared bathroom. Normally I avoid these like the plague but in this case given the small size of the hotel it did not present any problems.
English: the staff speak basic English and we had no issues.
Location: Plenty of eating options abound near by. You can walk to the termini or the hop on hop off. Put simply, for anyone leaving or coming to Rome by train there is no better value option.
