I stayed here for 4 night with two friends in August . I have never been to Rome before and was extremely surprised by the location of this hotel to so many of the iconic/historic sights of Rome. My friends and I are women in our early 60's with some mobility problems, but found walking to the various sights so very easy, only 10mins to the Trevvi fountain and the Colleseum and even less to the Pantheon, we even walked back from our Vatican tour! The roof terrace was a huge bonus, the staff were very helpful, cleanliness excellent and a quiet location. JUST PERFECT!!
I have read a few negative comments about the breakfast, to me personally totally unjustified, a perfectly acceptable continental breakfast overlooking the rooftops of Rome - what more could you ask for?

We booked this hotel due to its very central location but also to treat ourselves to it 4 star service - unfortunately it failed. While its location was excellent, albeit entered via a slightly scruffy side lane, it did not live up to its 4 star rating. Despite booking and paying in advance, we were allocated a room in the attic, with VERY low head room and a tiny window. The porter apologised when showing us to this room and said we could ask for a proper room in the morning. We complained that this was not good enough but were advised that they could do nothing as the hotel was full. Clearly they had over-sold their rooms. We were moved to a pleasant enough "normal" room in the morning but were refused a rebate/compensation. Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to sample the much heralded roof garden due to the risk of rain (not Hosianum fault) but breakfast was instead in a soulless, windowless basement serving tinned rather than fresh fruit.

Perfectly located within walking distance to all main attractions. We had a double room for 3 nights and we were really impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The welcome and information given on arrival was excellent and we especially loved the roof terrace that was utilised for breakfast every morning and a cocktail or two in the evening. The only thing I would say was missing was tea and coffee facilities in the room which would have been a bonus when we returned to our room to freshen up in the afternoon.

For us this was an ideal location in Rome. We have been to Rome a couple of times but this time it was really just an overnight stay and so the Hosianum Palace location was ideal....walking distance to many of the main attractions in Rome. It was also just around the corner from the Hop On Hop Off bus stop. The only down side was that the air conditioning was not so good but we could sleep so really not that bad. Also the rooftop bar was such a refreshing place to end the night....lovely cool breeze and very attentive staff.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was great for a city break. Location excellent for all 'must do' sights. Friendly staff and a lovely roof terrace. Staff gave lots of non tourist recommendations. Definitely wold stay again.
