“Great value, nice hotel, but wi-fi was extremely slow”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

The Wi-Fi was so slow at times it was basically unusable. The room was €72 a night for two people which I thought was a great value. It has free parking, which I took advantage of. I did not get breakfast with my room. There is a nearby place called Cafe Made at Viale Dell' Oceano Indiano 1 which locals go to and they have €1 cappucinos and pastries for less than €1. It is about a 10 minute walk. This hotel is about 1 mile from a subway station. I made the walk through the odd Mussolini driven suburb of E.U.R. and kind of interesting to see the fascist symbolism and architecture. You can also take a bus to the subway stop from the hotel. The E.U.R. Palasport subway station is the one to go to. The front desk can help you with that. You can buy all day Rome metro passes for €6 that include subway, street cars, and buses. The hotel rooms were large and modern looking. The shower head was extremely large and kind of fun. The room also included a bidet. I thought this place was a great base for visiting Rome. I walked to the subway station, got around Rome by subway and walking, and came back. Also on Sunday I drove around Rome with my car since the ZTL is not in effect on Sundays. There were balconies but there is not much privacy on them.

My stay at the Novotel Rom Eur was wonderful. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Rome and my room had a nice balcony. The staff were really friendly and very welcoming. I have restrained from giving it 5 starts only because the choices at breakfast were not so great. However I think this is because of my high standards coming from English breakfasts. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Excellent hotel and very clean rooms. The staff too very co-ordial and helpful.....

The only thing was the location a little far away from the centre. We had to take 2 trains and then 777 bus to reach here. But nevertheless it was worth the pains.

You find a super market and a mall right down the lane. Quite area and we also found a cafe just on to your left of the hotel ...a walk 10 mins from the hotel in a business area ...very good cafe with vairety of choice for your breakfast...that is if you do not have breakfast included in your stay...

I was staying at this Hotel due to a business trip and I more than enjoyed my stay. The staff was more than friendly, the room was big and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the sleeping quality good. the bathroom was big and all toiletry offered one can need. Due to a strike I was blocked one more night in Rome and the staff did everything to Help me. The Location is not the best as Roma EUR is outside City and it takes some time to go to the centre. But this can be also positive as during the night you have no noise around.
The breakfast was not the best, so I decided not to take it there the second day. But nevertheless, I can recommend this Hotel.

I enjoyed my stay...Staff was VERY helpful. Courteous and went out of the way to answer my questions. Hotel is away from the city...but I found that a plus we went to the local mall and it was nice to be out of the tourist sector. plus it was nice and quiet at night time. Hotel was comfortable. The train is just a walk away, Or you can take the bus to the train station that takes you everywhere.

I spent one night for business. The area is new, the wiew from the rooms can be forgotten. The rooms are comfortable, with free wifi. However, it was not very positive, that the cover on the WC flash fall down, when I pushed it. But kept working. The restaurant was good standard for dinner, but the breakfast... I arrived 8:30, there was no pan, no plate, a few slices of cheese and ham. It should be much better, if somebody could pay attention for continouos refill of the trays. Anyhow, it is easily accessable from the airport, but there you have no chance to see anything from Rome.
It is positive,m that you can open the window in the room!

The hotel is like so many business hotels around the world, lacking in any character. But it is very clean and well maintained.

Staff, in the hotel and restaurant, are exceptional - friendly, welcoming, knowledgable and only too willing to be supportive.

With such excellent service, I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.
