Well what a great hotel very close to everything the longest walk to an attraction about 45mins. Yet it is tucked away from the hussle & bussel. This is a family run hotel which in it's self tells the story of a well run hotel (ie) if you want people to return & let a loan tell others
You look after them as though they are part of your family & this is exactly how they treat you. They the family become your directory breakfast preparers best friends & what ever more you need. The rooms a very spacious & clean the bed is very comfortable. We certainly will return hope to see you there.

We stayed here 2 evenings, would have stayed more, but they had no vacancy.
A boutique hotel, with affordable rates, very clean rooms and a great breakfast.
A quiet neighborhood and attentive family staff at this hotel. There are only 10-12 rooms.
The guys run the front desk and the ladies handle the kitchen.
The gentlemen handle all duties from helping you into the hotel and exiting. The entrance
is thru a pair of 12 foot high doors for what appears to be an apartment building. A little quirky
but it works fine. Their a oodles of wonderful restaurants nearby, and the Borghese Park too.
We would stay here again, if the opportunity arises.

What an amazing place this is. It is so friendly, warm and charming. The location is great as it is right next to the park and still only a 10 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. The rooms are big and the food is great. If you want to feel like you are in Italy then come here.

This hotel is family run and it shows. Upon arriving either push the button on the doorbell array labeled "Hotel" or in many cases someone will be there waiting for you. The front desk is on the 2nd floor, take the vintage and totally cool elevator up! Check in is smooth and simple but the host will give you a 10 minute explanation (if desired) about what to see in Rome, how to get there, the streets to walk on and avoid and even some very excellent restaurant recommendations. These places aren't just his friends, they are solid tips. If I had video taped his speech and map drawings I could get 1000 YouTube views in a month! The room was very nice, roomy and a decent sized bathroom. Ask for an exterior room, ours faced in and the window opened on to an unattractive service corridor. The location is great, right by much public transport and a medieval wall. The park across the street is beautiful and huge. A very string value for a city like Rome.

Hotel Golden, a family-owned hotel, is in a great location for touring around the historic part of Rome. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We arrived jet-lagged in the morning and were very grateful that we were allowed to immediately check in and get a nap before venturing out sightseeing. Giuseppe spent at least 25 minutes pointing out places of interest on the map. He also happily arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the port in Civitavecchia. The grandmother prepared a delicious buffet breakfast with many different choices every morning. I will definitely go back to Hotel Golden when I am in Rome in the future!
