On arrival it was very confusing, because there were no signs were to check in. Eventually discovered the check-in around the corner in another building. I had to lug my heavy suitcase by myself. The small room was very clean, had a small fridge and desk. The worst was the air-conditioning that didn't work properly. Rome is extremely hot and humid in July, and no air-con makes it very uncomfortable. The location is great for exploring the vatican, which I thoroughly enjoyed!

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfort! Two basic things that i want from a hotel! We went on July and the ac was working just perfect! Its a decent choise for a room to return after longs walk to the cty! The location was perfect for us, is almost in the ''middle'' of all atractions! Very close to the Vatican! The only thing you should notice is the shower cabin, i dont know about the other rooms but in our room was extremely small! If you have a little weight problem this is not the room for you!!!

We were booked into a 3 star hotel across the road, but this appears to act as an 'overflow' hotel so we were given a room in this hotel - we were booked in for 4 nights and refused to stay here longer than 1, Particularly as we paid £90 a night. On that one night we were moved to 3 different rooms due to problems in each.
Beware... the deluxe double room shown in one of the pictures is now nothing like it was... the upper level has been boarded up - I have provided an updated picture, you will see it is not even plastered or decorated, and that the staircase has simply just been cut off at the top - awful, and no explanation as to why was given upon enquiry... we found this very disturbing.
Also added some pictures of the beds... absolutely filthy. There are cleaner beds floating in the Tiber!
There was no hot water to take a shower or wash either.
Other travellers have placed pictures on here for the reception area that looks lovely... when we stayed there was no such reception area.

The hotel is in a safe area, convenient to all attractions, and has air conditioning. We found the hotel staff to be helpful, I asked for an extra pillow and they had no problem giving it to me. The rooms were clean and it was very quiet as well. Only complaint we had was that the beds were hard. Other than that- it was great. Yes, the rooms are small, but it's a European hotel- all of them have small rooms, unless you're okay with shelling out big bucks.

All in all, we were quite pleased.

The hotel room was extreamly small. The heat system was out of order. It didnt work , it was quite cold in the room we slept with our clothes on to keep warm.
We left hotel 3 days before planned because hotel was not what we expected.
Seems like staff had no clue of our reservation. it took 3 staff members 10 minutes before they gave oss the right price. we payed them with our credit card PLZ CHECK BEFORE YOU PAY. BECAUSE THEY CHARGED US DOBBLE. WE PAYED 308 EURO FIRST NIGHT WE WERE THERE. AND THEY CHARGED US 324 EUROS WHEN WE LEFT HOTEL. 16 EURO WAS CITY TAX. THEY TRANSECTED 324 FROM OUR BANK ACCOUNT. SO DONT PAY MONEY IF YOU ALREADY PAID. AND BE CAREFULL WITH WHAT YOU SIGN ON THE BILL.
NOW WE ARE TRYING TO GET OUR MONEY BACK THOUGH BANK AND BOOKING.COM.

A Little tucked away but a great spot to Stay. Very reasonable, small but clean rooms. A little old fashioned but a very central place for access to many of Romes sites. We were 10 to 15 minute walk to basilica and Spanish Steps. Very helpful staff on Reception. Stunning doors at entrance to accommodation.
