“Great location, clean rooms and friendly service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 February 2013 via mobile

Location was great, just a 2 minute walk from the main station. Was able to walk to all the main attractions in 20-30 minutes. The staff were very friendly and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after we had checke out. Rooms were very basic but were good value given the price, bed was made each morning after we left the hotel. Also there is free wifi which works in the rooms. If you stay here try the restaraunt Elletra just downstairs on the left.

I stayed here 2 nights and thought it was a great little hotel. It's less than 5 minutes walk from Termini Station and I found it really easy getting to all the major sites in the city (with a little help from my iphone maps app). All the staff I met there were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic but it was fresh and self service. It also had free wifi which was fast which was great.

I was a solo female traveller and I never felt unsafe even when I arrived in the evening at Termini Station. I would stay here again.

Once a year I travel to Rome with a group of students and in the last four year we never stayed anywhere else but at the Hotel Teti. Why?
Staff: all of them are very corteous and friendly. Furthermore, they are absolutely professional which helps a lot to make the reservations. And their English is better than my Italian, so no problem communicationwise.
Rooms: Yes, they are kind of small, but they meet my needs in every way. They are equipped with a small fridge, a safe, a ceiling fan (no AC needed, imo), a tiny TV (which I have never turned on by now) and a very little bathroom which is alright when you're not too fat. AND everything is spotlessly clean.
Breakfast: Don't forget that this is Italy (where many people in the morning are used to having a small bite on the go) and a two star hotel, with that kept in mind you won't find anything wrong about it, well, not during a one week's stay, at least. There are several kinds of coffee you can choose of at an automatic brewer that does a good job indeed. One negative point: jam, cheese, butter etc everything is in small single portions thus producing a lot of packaging waste.
Location: As said by others Termini is a 3 min walk away and there you have access metro lines A & B plus all the buses. The area is not the best Rome has to offer, but safe and nothing to worry about. There are plenty of shops nearby and a good SMA supermercato across the street from S. Maria Maggiore. BTW, here's a tip for a really nice restaurant. Try out "Andrea" (Via dei Mille 37-39, on the other side of Termini just an eight minute walk). Andrea the owner serves delicious food at very low prices, and he's a terribly nice fellow. We never eat anywhere else.
So, the Teti is not the Hassler, but being with students and therefore on a budget I'm very pleased with the good value for money this hotel offers. I will certainly be back next August.

Room Tip: I prefer no 9 (single). It's on the street side and a little louder, but I don't care!

this hotel is near termini station(go out door to left of station cross facing mcdonalds go two blocks and then turn right, first entry on right) the entry is disappointing as is the stairs. there is a lift but it is up half flight of stairs. the hotel is on a floor of a large building. the room was very nice and very clean. there was 24 hour front desk as well. the en suite was a late add on with tiny shower but plenty of hot water. all in all a great value.

Where to start with this review. We had two rooms in this 2 star Hotel on the weekend of the 8th of Sept, one double, one single.
On arrival at 21.00hrs we were greeted by a cheery chappy and by 21.05 we were in our rooms,so check in was a breeze.
The rooms were it has to be said spotless, big by Rome standards, with high ceilings,en suite was a good enough size however if you brought the cat into the shower you would not be swinging him about as the showers are small, believe me,but they work and have hot water so all ok with that aspect.
Beds it has to be said were hardish but after a days walking they were welcome and it has to be said that the double we had was huge,we were spread out like starfish in it plenty of room.
The breakfast room is small, but was well stocked so you wont go hungry.
Location, this hotel is fine just a 3 minute stroll from the train station, and within 20minutes from all the major visitor attractions, and the area around the hotel is safe as houses in the three nights we stayed we didnt hear a raised voice not to mind anything else.
The negatives about the Hotel are access, there is a lift on the first floor of the building but it is tiny but it does work, otherwise its stairs and plenty of them.
There is a 5euro per night charge for air con which given the price of the rooms is a bit steep, but in 29c heat you will pay it.
Would i recommend this Hotel for a brief stay in Rome....YES i would its functional and does what it says on the tin.......

Take some earplug with you and you´re very fine! Of course it is not "the Ritz", but a 3 or 4 day/night city trip it is just perfect! The staff is really friendly, the rooms incl bathroom are very clean. The breakfast is quite restricted but really ok. The really (and only!) negative thing was the noise at night. Option A: Window closed. Then it is of course quite quiet, but hot. You have to switch on the ventilator, which is really loud.
Option B: Window open -> heavy noise from outside.
I put in some earplugs and slept like a baby...

We stayed here for two nights. It is located on the second floor of the building (with two other hotels on different floors). There is a lift but it only starts up one flights of stairs and is very slow. Staff were friendly. It is very clean and the rooms are compact but not too small, with good storage space. It had a laptop with internet, which was handy. Airconditioning is extra but the fan in the room was sufficient. Breakfast is basic but more than enough - cereal, juice, bread, drinks. It's very near Termini. For a safe, clean and good value hotel, I'd recommend here.

Room Tip: We had reserved two rooms with twin beds but for the same price, one had two small twins (6) and one...
