“Far location from city centre”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

First of all its very far from city centre they advertise its 10 minutes from city centre and it was not, the trip is about 45 minutes from downtown ,the walk from hotel to the mean road is about 1 kilometer and if you carry heavy luggage it will be a nightmare and they will not offer any assistance to you , the room is too small and very hard to control climate knob it was overheated the room was like oven we couldn't sleep and when I spoked to them simply the done nothing , the wifi is not reaching the room , kindly don't advertise free wifi while is not available in hotel rooms ,the wifi only available downstairs in lobby ,the breakfast is very simple everyday is the same and they don't offer egg, omelet,no fruits, and the only option is cake and awfull pork mortadela ,no choices for chicken or turkey specialyy for children the restaurant staff is rude and they insist to communicate in italian only , the hotel is located very far from tourist activities areas and to go to city centre you have to take three times deferent public transport first overcrowded bus and change metro twice its painful trip specially with children , the return bus 913 comes late and fully crowded of passengers , overall this hotel should be 3 stars due the small tiny rooms with thin walls and poor services

Room Tip: Rooms wall are very thin take ear plugs with you to avoid noisy neighborhood, the rooms in 3rd level...

Its not worth to be a 4 starred hotel, bad maintenance, small rooms, clogging toilets, long waiting hours even if you have booked your room well in advance. What more do you want to say it was a terrible hotel to stay???

Had read the reviews here before going and was very nervous, however upon arrival we were VERY pleasantly surprised. We had booked a standard room and were upgraded. The room was very big with a separate seating area and large bathroom and even free Sky Tv with English channels. Breakfast was fine with lots of choice if you like a continental style buffet. The grounds weren't very nice in November time, and the pool area appeared to be shut. The hotel is quite far out, but the reception staff were very helpful with information on how to get into the heart of Rome. A taxi from Vatican City was around 15-18 euro. Overall, we were only there for 2 nights and we definitely would have liked to stay longer!

you think that you are in a forrest, very nice ,large and clean rooms, great bathrooms, all rennovated, breakfast with big variety but only sweet things ,no eggs, omelates, ham, cheese etc, nice gym and pool in summer,
it is about an hour away from the center of rome, but there are many busses that are going to the center or to the nearest metro stations like cipro or vaticano
it is a nice place that gives you another feeling of rome away of the center ,the traffic and noise

Room Tip: choose an upper room that facing the pool and the forrest

Myself and my partner stayed here on the 2nd December, was nicely greeted and also had our luggage delivered to our room which was on the fourth floor which was great.. all seemed fantastic, nice looking hotel, friendly staff etc. On the second night we could hear loud voices laughing and banging around next door which started around 11pm and didn't stop till 4am, the next night same thing except even louder and alot more people making a noise. . I went to reception to complain '3AM' to find out it was a coach load of students. The receptionist handed me a key and expected me to move myself and my partners stuff at 3am to the second floor.. he said it was either that or he would have to call there college professor, to which as you could imagine that's what I made him do... noise didn't stop till 430 am.. new room was lovely though... strongly advise that people check with the hotel before you book...

Quiet hotel and as other reviews slightly out of the way in terms of Rome City Centre. However, once you have sussed the transport it makes a good base to explore Rome. There were 3 buses to Rome from the bus stop 250m from the Hotel. Rooms were of a good standard generally and food at the Hotel good though only a cold buffet breakfast. For what we paid for the twin break we were more than happy.

As a hotel Inspector , spent 3 nights there and found a lot of faults
1. The first room we wrre given wete only 2 single beds put together.
2. There was no coffee or tea in the room, then when we demanded another room .
Found the wooden slate on the floor were loose ( very dangerous )
3. The towel heating rack didn't work
4. The empty soap gell wasn't replaced till we told them .
The so called shuttle bus only ran 3 times a day 3 in the morning and 1at night.
And if you missed any of these , you haf to make your own way to your destination or your own way back to the hotel becsuse no one will come and get you .
Some not all of the staff were polite .
This is hotel is rated 4 stars .
I would give it 2and ahalf stars
Which means i would use if i had no chioce
