Very nice room and location! Nice girl in reception and the breakfast lady! Unfortunately was the breakfast an unfreash sugar bomb. Why it's so hard to buy a new baked sugar free croissant when there are bakeries all around?

Booked and prepaid through Orbitz weeks before arrival - 2 rooms for one night followed by a cruise, with 2 rooms for 3 nights on our return. Despite Orbitz confirmation the day of arrival, very rude man at desk said one room was canceled only a day after we made the reservation. He said a local agent canceled but would not call to try to straighten it out and totally ignored the Orbitz vouchers - said it was my problem. Upon our return from the cruise same thing - we left. The same man cursed us and threatened to call the police and seemed ready to fight. I called him a crook and told him he'd cheated us twice. Hotel and/or local agent are either scam artists or just incredibly rude and incompetent. Online booking seems be an intricate mystery to them. Basil Fawlty on steriods - a real nasty character. For God's sake, don't prepay. The hotel is dingy and cheerless and not at all like the pictures - avoid at all costs. Plenty of other decent hotels with pleasant staff in the same area.

Gentile Cliente,
Now I'm usually a 5 Star Resort kind of girl, but my husband and I did Europe on a 3-4 Star budget. Eva's rooms was the last stop on our trip and did not disappoint! When you arrive, you are buzzed up to the first floor where you check in.. we were then taken to the 3rd floor to our room and showed around. The rooms are cute, boutique style, gorgeous little windows! The location is perfect, 5 min walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. 5 min walk to the Metro. You can get a full day pass on the metro for 6 Euros.. much better value then getting on a waste of time hop on hop off! Security is really good at the hotel as well. The breakfast is brought to your room around 8:30 and while it is basic it gets you going. Eva was sooooo friendly, and made us feel at home! Thank you for the amazing experience!

Booked this accommodation after reading reviews and was not disappointed. Although the rooms are basic, they are clean and comfortable. However, they do not supply tea and coffee making facilities and although there is a fridge there is no minibar, but you can purchase water, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks from reception at reasonable prices. Breakfast is brought to your room as there is no dining facilities, this is basic but for the price you pay is adequate, tea and coffee is not served hot as they do not appear to have boiling water and was using the hot water tap, ask for cappuccino, as this appears to be made from a machine and is served reasonably hot. The staff were friendly and helpful and the owner, Eva, was very welcoming. The location has to be the most positive of all as its close to so many attractions and is surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants.

We stayed in 10 lodgings in Italy, on a three-week trip. This is the only place that disappointed us.....And our travel agent booked it! Its location does NOT set it apart; we counted numerous other hotels in the same vicinity. Perhaps it was lower-priced than the other hotels, but not by much. And not low enough to warrant a stay. "Hotel" is not an accurate description; it is more like a boarding house. No lobby to speak of. No option on when your sheets and towels are refreshed. Bedspread was soiled. On the scheduled day for clean towels we were overlooked and we had to ask for them. The included breakfast was minimal, and brought to your room on a tray at an appointed hour--in flexible Italian time, of course. It sits on an extremely noisy street (one of us is from NYC and had never heard street noise this bad/magnified)--sleep was difficult.

Room Tip: You do not want a room that overlooks the street!

This accommodation is brilliant on all levels. Friendly, clean, safe, and so conveniently close to the Spanish Steps (an easy 5 minute stroll), Trevi Fountain, etc. with excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Termini station is just a short and inexpensive taxi ride away. It is obvious that the family takes pride in the presentation of these lovely apartments and in the standard of hospitality they provide. The beautiful Eva and her mama Giulia are welcoming and caring and ensure your every need is met.You will not find better value in every way anywhere in Rome.

Room Tip: As far as we can tell all rooms are excellent. With windows closed and air con on street noise was...
