The location is just perfect : just a few blocks from the Termini Station, you just come from the airport and walk 2 minutes and then, you enter in a beautiful & quiet little garden. The rooms are on the first floor, easy to access. They were very clean, and the neighborhood very cool and quiet. The owner of the place was very kind and ready to give any help.
Sure, next time I go to Roma, I go back there. Thank you so much for making this stay so good.

This is a perfect place for a student or budget minded traveler looking for a real European Hostel Experience that has many amenities you only find in an "Albergo." I almost didn't stay here after reading some of the reviews but having been to Rome several times I had a feeling these were left by novice travelers, likely American like myself who just didn't understand the true difference between a Hostel, Albergo, and Hotel. So if you are expecting a room attended by a floor maid, fresh luxurious linen, abundance of towels, private baths, flat screen TVs, etc then go stay at a Hotel there are thousands in Rome and a room generally starts around $250 a night plus tax. However, if you wish to travel as the Europeans do stay at Lilliput! This lovely Hostel is quaint and gives you all that you need to rest your tires bones for a quick evening nap! The rooms are clean, the beds comfy, and the place gives you the character of a real Roman experience staying th the heart of a thousands years old city. Winding down the narrow streets to the hostel is what I am looking for and what I got at Lilliput! I WILL BE BACK!

My goodness you are in Rome and if you are hanging out at your "hotel" for amenities and luxury you might need to re-think you travel plans, maybe go stay at one of those reiculous hotels in Las Vegas that give you a "Disney" experience of what some corporation thinks Europe is like. Just like their eateries are classified (cafeteria, trattoria, restaurante, and even Enoteca) Italian "hotels" are classified as well. Within the United States we truly only have what Europeans call "Hotels."

The bottom line is that in Europe you get what you pay for and there are plenty of affordable ways to travel, these options are frequented by Europeans and most are considered "2nd Class" a term shunned here in the USA but there is nothing wrong with it in Europe. So stay at Lilliput for roughly $60 bucks a night and spend the $200 a night you save on fabulous things from a leather market or something special on Via Cavour! If you get in the mindset of being in Roman and doing as the Romans do you will have a fabulous experience!

Good place! Liliput hostel is very close to stations and points of interest, the staff is friendly and always have good suggestions for activities in the city. It is a good option if you are a student and you know Europe almost always find small hostels, fun is out, you just need a safe place to rest.

Most rooms in Liliput are multiple-bed rooms. Some of them have bathroom inside, some of them not. Other than that, there are some rooms suit. Though, even if you will stay as a family, you can choose multiple-bed rooms. They are comfortable. In addition, Liliput is safe to You for put your belongings in a cabinet with lock, so it's not a problem to stay with people you do not know. The rooms, bathroom, common places are all clean. It's not a hotel of course, but you find everything you need.

This is not the first time in Liliput Hostel, and surely not the last, thanks a lot for everything guys and see you soon!

Room Tip: Higher floors are better for sleep

I have visited Lilliput 2 times, both alone and with friends. We were all very pleased with our stay there. The rooms are fresh, clean and the place is located very good to explore the rest of Rome. I got very useful information from the friendly staff to both visit main attraction and local places that are mainly visited by local italians.

Lilliput was very centrally located for all Rome's amazing sights. Very near buses and metro to get around the city. Close to Main train station for when you arrive on the bus from Ciampino airport.

We didn't have any problems with cleanliness mentioned in some other reviews. Everything was in the room and property which you would expect from this standard of accomodation. Owner who let us into property was very helpful in giving us local knowledge including where to eat for local tastes (better than ending up in usual tourist trap places).

Highlights were definetly coloseum and St Peter's (and countless others). Amazing pizza near Piazza Novona. Pizza place accross from Irish pub Abbey Theatre. Defos receommend sitting on the spanish steps of an evening and watching the world go by!

I just stayed at Liliput Hostel, it was cozy & clean,I had one of the greatest time of my life, great people to meet all over the world in this Hostel it is just 5 min from the main train station (Termini), you get your own key, breakfast is more like a continental breakfast or italian breakfast which is more like coffe and few other things not bad at all, the Owner was really nice kind,. People at the laundry next door were very helpful and gave us a discount for coming several times, great guy!

I defenetly will stay at Liliput Hostel next time I visit Rome! the place to go! Thanks Letizia for all your wonderful help & Beutiful hostel!

ciao,
Dan

This hostel shows pretty rooms on their website/hostel world, but they are NOT THE ROOMS YOU WILL GET. They originally showed us the pretty room you see on their website, then they said "woops sorry...someone else booked this...i'll show you another room which is just around the corner" so she takes us to another building and the room is NOTHING like what you see on the website. it's dark, and the moment we put our luggages down, a cockroach crawled over my luggage and went under the bed. IT WAS DISGUSTING!!! Don't stay at this hostel. Biggest scam ever.
