Not what i expected - was a whole lot more !
I stayed here on my own, in share accomodation and it was great.
Clean pool & spas, its own shop to do groceries, cafe, 24 hour travel agent and shuttle buses into the Vatican part of Rome - and for a small price.

I was sharing in a 3 bed "tent" which was clean, fresh linen, air-conditioning as well. Free wifi but there is also internet cafe if you need to use.

Was nice to stay just outside of the main part of town, so you could un-wind and relax by the pool after a long day walking around the amazing sites of Roma.

Highly recommend !

This is a great place for a base in Rome If all you want is a bed for the night. Only 1 euro to get into Rome by bus number 247 right outside the hotel which tskes about 20 mins and it drops you off a 2 minute walk from the vatican museums or you can get the metro right where the bus stops into Rome. If your doing this get a 4 euro unlimited travel card for the day the trains are every few minutes and the busses about every 10 or 15.
The only complaint about the campsite Is the noise that the groups of scoolkids make at night goes on till about 3.30 every night so If your a light sleeper this isnt the place for you! The music from the bar can be heard till 2 am every night . This is even so they won't let you sit quietly outside your bungalow after 11pm drinking a beer and minding your business, so you have to lie in bed every night listening to the insessant noise!
Also there are no safes in bungalows so you will need to keep your valuables with you.
Convenient place but facilities are very very basic! No fridge or cooking facilities in bungalows either.

Linen was dirty (one looked like it had a spot of blood on it), blanket had hair all over it and hair hanging from the top bunk. Light was broken and flicked through the night. Loud music and people drinking late at night. Very very very small, could only just fit the beds in. Shower kept going from hot to cold and with not great pressure. No toilet paper in room.

Room Tip: For backpackers its okay. Couples stay away.

We LOVED our stay here! We are travelling as a young couple (30 years old) and this place is fantastic!!!!! We have been traveling for 8 weeks by the time we reached here and of all the hotels we've stayed in the biggest of cities this place is by far our favourite with its awesome atmosphere and beautiful surroundings for all ages. It completely exceeded our expectations. The bungalows are perfect, no tv or fridge but the serenity of the place makes up for it. The on-site supermarket, massive laundry services room, restaurant, bar, club and pool were awesome. They have an info point that takes care of everything for you including airport transfers and tour packs and Internet access.

There are a lot of people from all over the globe staying here and it does accommodate for the party people at night but it was no trouble at all. We probably had one noisy night out of the 4 nights we stayed but it didn't bother us at all. It's a holiday and everyone is expected to be enjoying themselves and we had older travelers staying in our section of the bungalows and they didn't seem bothered by any of it.

Getting too and from Rome city couldn't have been easier. There are HEAPS of people waiting for the bus but they all cram in the first bus that comes along and if u wait 5 minutes for the next one its empty. The longest we waited was no longer than 15 minutes and the bus (number 247) takes you to the last stop near the Vatican. There is a shuttle bus from the camping site for 2 euro return that takes you to the Vatican if you prefer to do it that way.

Overall this place is fantastic, I didn't even care about sight seeing as I just wanted to hang out at the camping site! I highly recommend it if your looking for a fun but relaxing environment with everything you could need for a fun stay!

Lots of contikis and buss outs stop here. Great place to have a party with other young people. It has it's own supermarket, computer centre and night club (with cheap bucket cocktails). Had a blast here! Only downside was it was about 20minutes outside Rome.
